12 base damage is a MASSIVE nerf. During the laning phase, having just 5 more damage than your opponent means you're going to get a handful of incontestable last hits. Many carries start with a +3 stat item specifically to help last hit.

Oh my god, that's just beautiful. What I find kinda funny though is they have Juggs as their carry. But still, this be the DoTA version of Wombo Combo. So beautiful.
Never realized how intricate it can be that even a +3 item makes a difference. Any hopes for Naga's damage getting at least partially restored?
Guides are up.
Of course, this is the top-rated hero guide:

Bleh.
Regular matches are so offputting. Enemy team always steamrolls, drags out the game far too long and then always announces how easy the game was.
plums.
Several reasons: You keep grouping with bads. You indirectly helped them steamroll you by unintentionally feeding them, or picked heroes you aren't proficient in using. Alternatively, the other team are just full of pros playing low level accounts for the pubstomping experience.
If you guys want i can list all the tips, tricks and stuff i use when i am playing solo queue myself.
That game i went Lina mid. I wouldn't say I'm a Lina pro, but i thought i did ok. Early through mid game i was 5/1 until i kept getting ganked by like 3 people with good disables. Game goes on, teamfight in which i get a triple (our team is still losing at this point btw)
Then they just focused me every time till we lost.
Since you were getting focused so heavily, your teammates either aren't helping you out enough, or you need to stay back a little more. That's a problem with squishy heroes, because a good gank will take you down fast. Since they were hating you so much, you probably should have nabbed a Black King Bar so they can't shut you down at all, but that's a really big stretch. Linken's Sphere can help a lot as well, since usually if you can escape the 1st disable/nuke then you have a much higher chance of escaping the others.
If you link to the match/give match ID i could probably give some pointers as to what to watch out for next time.
Probably shouldn't have rushed Scepter on Lina. Drum of Endurance and Force Staff/Blink Dagger probably would have kept you alive better and let you carry harder. Heck, even if you were going for massive nuking potential (which is the only real reason you'd rush Aghs on Lina) you might have been better served by an Orchid Malevolence.
Well, yeah that's a problem. Aghanim scepter is too expensive whilst doing too little, drums and forcestaff cost around the same but adds much more utility and much much more surviveability.
Euls scepter is also amazing for getting a stun to hit nearly 100%.
Euls is my favorite item on Lina. Mana, movement speed, and guaranteed stuns in a neat little package.
You can always try a hero with more escapes. Nothing says annoying like a hero with blink, high on-demand movement speed, or can slow/stun pursuers. More bonus points if you can go invisible, although that only works against people without Sentry wards or True Sight Gems.
Or you can always carry 1-2 TP scrolls on you so you always have that "ABORT! ABORT!" button.
I feel like I've hit a wall. I had a string of 4 games with over 10 deaths and less than 2 kills. I did slightly better last game, but I am just dying early and often, having minimal effect on fights and the game.
