No, that's a very good line and it's used several times in the VN. The cry of the seagulls marks the moment of their salvation...hopefully before it's too late. The absence of the seagulls is one of the very first things that foreshadows the terror that is going to befall them. ED is full of uncensored nipples. Hell, there were two islands with a bridge that were shaped and coloured as breasts, and you could see the colour through the see-through part of Aresta's uniform.
