ironically, soloing with one filler/looter yielded me more weapons than going with a 6 men party.

Sigh. I don't know what it is with Cvellum's drop rate but it's definitely stupid.
I've killed it three times now, each with 2x drop, wolf, and 10 20% drop lines. We got four items the first two times and absolutely nothing the most recent run.![]()
Honestly though, should the drop rate really be able to be manipulated so much? Even 10x drop rate is just ludicrous and shouldn't even be achievable... <_<;
Granted, the boss shouldn't just outright drop NOTHING, either...

Community Moderators (CM) have said that CRA in MSEA are already dropping CRA set.. just that the drop rate is unbelievably low

Ever since Chaos, I've been pondering why Nexon hasn't capped the EXP rate to 2x or 3x, just to be generous? An overly high drop rate is nearly as broken as an overly high exp rate. With all this much EXP buffs, items and potentials going around, economies would shatter and distort, I bet.
One can safely assume that the top-tier bosses are never killed on less than 4x drop. So Nexon can set their drop rate to 1/4 of what would be "balanced", and all is well. People who kill on 10x drop will "only" get 2.5x a "balanced" amount, which isn't much worse than using 2x drop on other bosses.
And then people who kill it without drop multipliers will get shafted.
If you want to balance boss drops, make drop multipliers NOT work on them. However, this would absolutely never happen because one; people are too used to the drop multipliers and would flip pomegranate, and two; nexon wants money.
And for instanced looting... Well, I don't really think it's a problem in the long run, but when they release equipment and make them VERY expensive at first by making them exclusive, and then ruin the drop rate a year or two later, forcing prices to get driven down, then that is an issue in itself. But Nexon does that with every good equipment that comes out. They make it super exclusive through NX, and then milk it for all they can, and once they can't get anything else from it, they release new, better equipment, and throw it in teapots/marvel/gachapon/whatever they can. Once they're cheap, THEN they let the public get them via drops... Examples: Empress equips (emp impossible at first, get the equipment from gachapon/etc, then Empress becomes killable, CRA equips don't drop from CRA bosses, but CRA bosses impossible anyway, so only way to get them is from teapots, then when they make a lot of money from that method, finally they drop from the bosses, and now we have our Tyrant capes dropping as well).
