You should get runes if you don't have the basic ones like MR blue, Armor yellow, AD/MPen red, AD/AP quint..and then support runes if you ever play it.
If you do have those, get movement quints if you think you'll use a champion that uses them (theyre expensive so yea..).
If you don't need THOSE, then idk. get champions.

malphite support > throw rocks all day > enemy carry can't farm without getting hit by q and can't win trades because of e> love how he can't even get pass my shield so he doesn't even try harassing me everytime I throw rocks> made him buy tons of hp pots > derped because he barely has 1/2 the cs by the end of lane phase and couldn't buy many items because he needed sustain, also support+him died around total of 6 times compare to us only once which was me tower diving
