    This has nothing to do with US vs Pierce at all. Tang is saying you get more hits/sec spamming pierce than spamming snipe. Since he notes the %/s is lower (obviously), it's not better unless you are well past cap on snipe.

    Oh. The second table uses Ultimate Strafe for single target, not Pierce. I'll edit the post to clarify that. Pierce is terrible single target unless you can cap uncharged. Then it's you're amazing.

    Wouldn't Snipe be better for single target now that it's 9 hits (10 with the hyper skill)?

    derp just realized that was for the non Hyper tables.

    Why are Marksman's over/s so much higher than BMs though?

    When did Snipe become 9 hits instead of 1??? I've love to hear the science behind how a skill known as Snipe, aka a single powerful shot, can hit an enemy 10 times. Inb4 MAGICS.

    Snipe works like that because its so badass that a single hit wouldn't do it justice.

    Tell me you were asking this when Snipe was first changed to 4 hits instead of 1 and I have a bridge I can sell you....

    Well, for starters, it does 500% x 8 hits over 1020ms without Booster which is more damage than Hurricane does in the same time frame. Then you factor in the fact that with Booster and SI, the delay can be brought down to 780ms, it does even more damage. Then consider that it adds 10 seconds of 200%/s uncappable DoT, and that each hit does up to 10m damage for a total of 80m in under a second, I think it's a teensy bit better than Hurricane.

    It doesn't, but why does it matter when I already calculated that Wind of Frey is stronger than Hurricane + AFA?

    Well... I feel AFA and hurricane is still a little bit stronger than Wind of Frey. Just beating it by hits/sec if anything. Until maybe 2~3m per hit with wind of frey at the least.
