funnily, i want it because of the effect, however, i can guess (or see the KMS videos) how annoying it will become when EVERYBODY gets these rings and androids

Yeah zombie ring was amazing :( they should have just added an option to toggle the effect on and off for the people who didn't like the animation
Oooooh my gosh no. The zombie effect was dreadful. Ironically I considered the Angelic effect ugly and nasty and didn't want it, but now I love it. It might just be because i'm one of a still small group of people that have the ring, but I like the little angels and electrons.
Cash effects, or effects from other equips will cancel out the ring's effect.
Yeah, but have you seen pictures of KMS FM? Almost literally everyone has one. I'll be surprised if people can still enter FM after this...

You know what awesome idea Nexon will never implement? Make certain graphics / game mechanics only appear for you. Like, you can only see your ring effect, or only you can see your damage dealt to mobs. It's genius!

Allow us to choose low-quality graphics not just for background, but for effects too.
You know all those new flashy highly-detailed skill animations? My computer can't take 'em, apparently. Either that or some kind of memory-leak type glitch is making it so I can no longer solo zakum, on a clean reboot, without it going transparent at second body, and half my dialogs being invisible by the time I'm done.

Yeah, ultimates always seem to freeze my MS the first time they're used on a map, but subsequent uses run smoothly then.

Nope. That's the way the game is designed. This and other cache-saving image "techniques" that Maple uses stay in the cache until Maple's closed as the game does not clear its cache over time. This is the main reason for the intense memory build up you get for leaving Maple on over time.
So I guess there's no other way around that aside from getting a faster HDD then?
