Bethestha (Or more specific the zinemax or some shaddy company using the name of bethestha, forgot the actual name) its just somewhat butthurt of the name scroll being stupidly similar to one of their best sellers "Elder Scroll" (Which people actually dont mention them like that often O.o), or some other crap that i most likely forgot.
Edit: Potions are most likely to be 1.10 since jeb said there wasnt enough time(?) to implement the brewing system for making potions.
Snow seems to be fixed in 1.9 though the "spawning snow when snow is falling" is buggy as hell on ice...disappeared and reappeared.
Portals are bugged like crazy - there's 3 of us living within 100 blocks of each other [x |-100-| y |-100-| z], and I can go in my neighbor's portal [y], turn around to go out the same way I came in and end up at z's portal. But we made a nether "town" of sorts, only thing pineappleing us up is the ghasts.

I made a portal under my house, when I went in then returned to the normal world I popped out of someone else's portal. (The one at that castle/fort thing near the original spawn)
So not only can I not enter the Nether for more than a few seconds now (Used to be able to stay as long as I wanted until this update) without getting D/C back to MC Menu, but when I exit I'm not even near my home. pineappleing pomegranate sucks.
That is weird not many people say elder scrolls 4 when they can say Oblivion guess they're on their toes cause of skyrim either way its stupid as hell. When 1.9 is officially released I'll get back on and try it out (for the baby animals =3)

Now you can get pumpkin seeds like you can from melons, exp is fixed, bunny hop is fixed, glass panes are "fixed" and fences are now a smidge more derpy.
Can spiders still jump over them?
That part wasn't changed; they now latch onto other blocks.
Meaning that if I have a fence ending at a cobblestone/wood/dirt/etc. wall, the fence will appear to connect to it rather than have an "end post"?
Yep, Mineshaft looks cooler since they are now 4 fences and 3 wood planks on top now (And the Fences connecting to the nearest block makes it look nice)

So yeah, been playing floating survival island map. I had to restart like 5x because I fell off with the bucket or something. I've finally gotten my bearings and I made a mob spawner, tree farm, and wheat farm.

Definitely an amazing pack with fantastic design similar to some of my favorite movies as a child, like Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach.
Been proud of myself since i managed to install about 20-30mods without conflicts or errors :D, Also waiting dat 1.9 update with the Nether/Aether Portal/World shenanigans.
Come to think of it, what does happen when you put a portal to one of the alt worlds within the opposite world?
The world you are implodes? Dunno.
Besides so far the new portal blocks (Crystals Blocks) are like bedrock, indestructible and are only located on strongholds so as much you can try to make nether portals in the new world to try it.
People have been talking about wanting ocean maps quite a bit lately, and I just happened to find a seed with a fairly large starter ocean and you sitting on a tiny island in the middle of it not able to see other land for ages even by boat. Uncertain of how seeds change with each update, but if you want an ocean map, just pop this one in and don't explore it until the update so that the new map generation can add all the goodies. I only explored for 10 mins on whim, so I can't say whether or not the whole map is like that.
