    I haven't used hammer in forever. All I do is rush + punch everything.

    At high 12x i'm getting a level roughly every 1.5 hours, but I do have some funding from my corsair.

    And that training style does not include laser. Tank moves too slow for me, and the extra power from level 1 laser doesn't help me much. I can cycle my current map 1.5 times faster in prototype mode.

    Can't Drill rush while in tank mode, only normal attack / gatlin / laser? thats a bit of a let down, i was hoping to use drill rush and laser as soon as i hit 4th. meh, i'll find a way to make it work. and if not i still have my SP reset.

    Normal Attack, Siege Mode (both of them?), Laser Blast, robots summons and buffs, iirc. Using Drillhands will change you instantly to Prototype mode. You still can use Drillhands, you only need to transform back into the missile tank after using it.

    I can't confirm, but I believe that Siege Mode [2] (4th job) is affected by Missile Tank "Damage Bonus (Siege mode): +30%" effect.

    However, for some strange reason I'll never be able to understand, Siege Mode[2] is an EXACT copy of Siege Mode (3rd job), including the cooldown on the early levels. Even with +30% damage bonus to Siege Mode [2], Siege Mode[1] is better until you get Siege Mode[2] to level 18, because of the cooldown.

    Now the worse part: Siege Mode[2] gets nerfed on the Reorganization patch (100% -> 95%) while Siege Mode[1] doesn't. What the pineapple?

    aah, thanks - so tank mode generally discourages drill rush then, but doesnt stop it entirely. does the 120speed of tank mode work like the jaguar boost (where you can go up to 160% speed? or is the cap still 140 in tank mode?)

    Im confused, looking at the resistance skill tables i only see missle tank mode, what is this Siege mode [1] and [2]? I assume Siege mode [2] is just when you use 3rd jobs' siege mode while in tank form? or does tank itself have a cooldown and not just an upgraded form of the prototype that you can stay in (since i see no duration or cooldown in the skill tables).

    Tank mode works like jaguar, it's like a mount. Speed equips don't affect it.
    I'm not so sure what you mean with Siege mode 1 and 2. You can use siege mode on prototype cd 15 sec max, last 5 secs. And you can also use it on missile tank mode, same duration and cd. Using it in missile tank mode is stronger as far as I know so I don't see anything wrong with that.
    Edit: Pretty sure the cd on siege mode 2 is 5 secs for me with only 1 point in missile tank. So I'm guessing if you maxed siege mode 1 on 3rd job, once you add a point to missile tank mode you will have siege mode 2 maxed.

    Wait what? People told me passive's that reduce def don't work like that O_O Most people on this forum kept telling me it worked how Xephia phrased it in the second half of his comment.

    Either I have been lied to from several people on this forum or nexon just trolling by giving different effects on pretty much the same skills ( example, you say it works with your bowmaster, i can give you a link to a thread i made that said a marksman maxed it and didn't get the same effect, and I still haven't tried out my wild instincts skill...)

    You guys gonna make me waste 5 of my skill points just to try this out >_>

    Fair enough, but does it raise my speed cap to 160 just like the jaguar raises a WHs' speed cap to ~180ish?

    as for siege mode 1 and 2 im just going to assume from now on that 1 is when its casted in prototype form and 2 is casted in tank form. I'm also going to assume hidden street is wrong for listing it twice when the skill readout is exactly the same.

    Siege Mode 1 is on the 3rd job. Siege Mode 2 is on 4h job. Exact same description, different icons.

    My speed shoes affect the distance of mech dash by a great margin. They are 12 speed.

    snowshoes also greatly impact mech dash in a negative way. >:(

    I don't believe you can, but the line you quoted was talking about Tank mode, not Prototype, lol

    I don't know why anyone would prefer Punch Launcher over Atomic. Sure, it may have more horizontal range, but that doesn't mean anything when you're drilling a map are right in front of the mobs. Also despite Punch having 90% more damage at max over Atomic (with max metal fist), my Atomic /always/ does more damage than Punch. Anywhere from 5k to 10k more.

    You can dash in tank mode, but it's as good as dashing with prototype using snowshoes.

    The skill build on basil tells not to max punch because heavy hammer is a lot stronger. The fact is, i already maxed punch on my mech, and i don't even use hammer anymore because punch is too strong. I have a sp reset from hot time so i'm asking myself what not to max. Any idea on this? All the skills seems useful, even healing bot.

    Speed in tank mode is 120/100

    If you are in proto mode + siege mode, you are using siege mode [1] on hs.net

    If you are in tank mode + siege mode, you are using siege mode [2] on hs.net

    While in tank mode, siege mode gets +30% bonus damage. You should never ever use siege mode in proto mode once you get 1 missile tank

    If you have X points into siege mode from 3rd, you have the same X points in siege mode [2]. It's just a hidden skill and you cannot add points to it

    And I still prefer punch to hammer because

    - Everything is in front of me when using drill

    - It's stronger so i can usually 1hko

    * After testing a bit, I think hammer is stronger due to the 30% ignore def. Now depending on where I train/the situation, i'll use hammer or punch if stuff is too far or close by

    - If i don't 1hko, i don't have that dumb annoying glitch where spamming hammer won't get any monsters except for the 1st one

    - I think its faster but I'm not sure. Haven't bothered to look up delay speeds
