But there's no reason to believe that Phantom isn't human. And if Phantom is human, why should the pirate hero be dead? 'Snot like humans in MapleStory seem to be very vulnerable to death anyway.

Also, what's going on with Spiegelmann? The quests released along with Monster Park clearly showed that he's a suspicious guy, and those who wrote them underlined that many times in the text. The stuff in this patch seems to prove that.

I wonder what is he used for. Also, the fact that he's related to Zakum, HornTail and Von Leon (remember the pictures you get from Old Envelopes), plus this..




.. makes me think he's indeed related to the Black Mage and might be spying on us to learn our moves / skills and prepare his master. I doubt he's the Black Mage himself, even though those animations above might lead one to think of that. But he might have given his soul to the him, therefore becoming immune to his strongest creatures (Zakum, HornTail, etc.).

He definitely is a very suspicious guy. But I doubt it's him.

I might be wrong, though. The last animation is very dark-ish, so you never know.

Would be kinda funny to know that one of the seemingly nicest people of Maple World actually is him.

He even has little black wings on top of that mirror =o maybe he's secretly a General or something.

Anywho, this whole Mikhail thing is interesting, I'm just wondering what they could do to make his existence make sense, is all.
Also, I wonder why they could've just make him a DW+ instead.

I sometimes like new classes, because it's a new way to play the game. But really, I only like them if they have a storyline, so Cannon Shooters and in some ways the Resistance didn't really do it for me.

I always liked the Chief Knight designs though! At least they look cool.

@Haseo That "Aran race" thing was way back before Aran came out, and no one had any idea that Aran was gonna be part of a set of 5.
All people had was Artwork of a male and female with dark skin and white hair so~

I think Spiegelmann has to be at least vaguely related to the Black Mage, there are all those photos of him with Von Leon/Zakum/Horntail in Monster Park. Plus he's really creepy.

@Jerry-Boyle; I'm betting Pirate Hero has a PDR skill link. It's the only worthwhile thing left.

They can always do avoid% or chance to dodge%. or unless they run out of ideas, start having jobs with a fixed % stat skill.

I'm quitting my Paladin once this class is here. I'm sorry to whine so much about it.
I dont like it that much that there's another holy class.. but I dont mind it that much really.
but they seem to have almost the same defensive capabilities of a Paladin. + Better attacks + Faster + More exp.
+ 10% exp increase + A Lv 120 blessing + a lot more.

I recall it too, but if the game insist Aran is a human, I'm gonna go with the game over that....

Also, I am holding my ground that they are all alive until proven other wise ala Freud. Seems like the best approach.

I think he is dead because kyrim is his daughter and having a daughter in MS is weird (but it right now doesn't matter because look what they did with mikhail) and the pirate hero woul have a really hard life, if he go to ellin forest he would see his wife.

Having a daughter doesn't condemn you to death. Not in real life, and not in MapleStory. Plus, Elin Forest is 'the past'. He could have visited after.
