Finally beat the Elite Four, N and Ghetsis ;o islow
Lol I just did the same thing a couple nights ago working from the 4th gym to beyond, after not touching the game I don't know how long. Just a random spark I guess.
Need to do the same for my Heart Gold but I guess I still have a lot left to do on Black.

Yeah same, I stopped for a while after beating Clay(?) and getting through that electric cave, then apparently not saving any of it. But once I finally got some motivation, BAM!
In addition to getting DeSu 2 today, also picked up MHFU 'cause 3rd portable english patch still has too many moonrunes for me to make heads or tails of anything.
I enjoy greatswords, but I cannot kill anything easily. Sadness.
Been quite some time, so I'll just throw up a couple things from memory.
DQ 4 - Beat it, and I can't say I really liked the story layout. I understand that this was exactly the revolutionary part of it when it first came out, but having to repeat the first few levels several separate times bothered me despite the back-story that went into each character/set of characters.
DQ5 - Unfinished.
Actual spoiler.
I know the story is somewhat rushed in it's pacing, and that the marriage was shallow, but something here clicked with me. Perhaps it is just the my current position in life, but I found it heartbreaking when the main character is turned to stone and waits years to see his own children after being in a similar situation himself. It really emphasizes the separate stages of life, in that everyone starts as a child, and must become the responsible one in charge of the life of others in time; something that I'm working to accept at the moment as well as I proceed into another stage of my life. Yes, basic, yes, fast-paced, but it still reached me. I have not yet found my wife in the game, so hold onto any further spoilers for now.
Radiant Historia - Unfinished. Not sure why I stopped, but I wound up doing so. I think it was hitting a level wall or some such thing in some such ruins. I plan on getting back to it after Suikoden II.
Suikoden II - WIP. Getting the PS3 and all the little details involved distracted me from this the most, but I'll be getting back to it after I wrap up the basic story in Disgaea 3. Again, likely the squirrels that made me lose patience.
Majora's Mask (Replay) - Was trying to get the poster via club Nintendo, and they ran out. I happened to see this as one of the coin rewards for Virtual Console at a cost less than that of what some serveys I had left, so I went for it getting my 3rd copy of the game (first cartridge, second GC Zelda Collector's Edition). Made it to the Ocean realm and then I got the PS3 and distracted myself.
Etrian Odyssey 3 - Unfinished. Got it used with a save with a Kei-onbu group. Not entirely unexpected. Anyway, a lot larger of a grind than I expected. Also, maybe this wasn't the best first venture into the franchise, but there is no guidance whatsoever on how to distribute skills making the first few levels not so pretty. Map-making is interesting so far, and I am glad as hell that I can now buy SP pots, but I'm not certain if this will really be something I can enjoy all the way to the end. Near the end of the second strata now.
FF IX - PSN version. God, I want to replay this one. This was actually my first PS1 game I played through myself (outside watching others play FF VII and Chrono Cross). I just really don't have time, so it's on the backburner.
Vagrant Story - PSN version. HOW THE BLOODY HELL DID I MISS THIS?!?! I haven't played much past the intro, but the production values at least seem well beyond what I was used to on the PS1. Maybe my memories are off, but my god it seems amazing. I can see why people connected this to tributes of future games like VP 2.
Legend of Mana (Replay) - PSN version. I can't remember a thing about this game, so I'd like to play it again given the time.
Chrono Cross (Replay) - PSN version. It's sad how much I played the original and loved it to death, yet have completely forgotten the plot of this game. I remember the battle system being annoying, and that it had amazing music (main reason for purchase), but beyond that, zip. Still cheaper to buy the game than the soundtrack to the game. Anyone know if they ever domesticated Radical Dreamers?
Katamari Forever - Got my Katamari fix taken care of, but I am disappointed that it mostly seemed to be a HD rehash. I also swear that I saw a level where you roll up the king in a playthrough video before, but I can't seem to find any information on how to do so. It was about his memories which was the plot of this game, so I was fairly certain it was part of Forever and not Beautiful.
Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction - I do miss 3D platformers. This was a fairly good installment, but I dunno, it felt like something was missing. Can't quite put a finger on it.
Disgaea 3 - Off to a cheating start again (in 2, I poisoned the level 100 boss to get to the dark versions of the world at level 4). This will be the first time I will do things right in that I'll be focusing on my items rather than my characters. Just starting chapter 4 now, and I have a big classroom with all class unlocks up to lvl 25 requirements and gotten as many of my characters as possible to Skilled tier 2 status. I also have a lvl 90 Manager and a lvl 62 Broker going on a Devil's Ring at the moment to aid in my mana costs. Unlocked Gods of Cooking and using mana pots from the shops to unlock skills etc. and once I get the party back up to the level of the current monsters (reincarnated everyone after all), I'll just plow through the rest of the story.
Minecraft - If you've read Zelkova's thread, you'd know pretty much everything about this already, but sunk a whole lotta time in there. @Sarah: Built liberty Castle from Suikoden 1 in there since it was a naturalistic design. I hate that game less than you think.
TF2 - Tried entering the big boy market by selling all my old vintage stuff and genuines for metal and trying to get lucky with keys. Half my stuff is gone, and I've had not a bit of luck. And now I have to find someone with paint to get back the looks I liked with the vintage versions. Gambling doesn't work people, IT DOESN'T WORK!
Odin Sphere - Unfinished. Been several months since I touched it, but more time since I've posted here. I finished the first character's story and moved onto the second. Will get to it sometime.
Entire PS2 Gust game line - Everything from Ar Tonelico 1 forwards. Need to finish.
Valkyrie Profile 1 - Unfinished. I want to get back to it, but my perfectionists status doesn't like having to redo the game since I didn't know I had to piss off the gods to a certain extent to get the ideal ending. I mean, I know I'd go back for the other endings later, but I'd like to see the romance with the stories main characters the first go around. It isn't like with Suikoden II, and just a side set of stories that I can miss like Clive's story and just lookup online later; it seems to me to have significant impact. Anyway, another one for the list.
Limbo - Don't think I mentioned this game before. Moody. That's about it.
Super Meat Boy - I suck at this type of game. VVVVVV was oddly fine with me, granted the best I could do on that V.V.V. challenge was 2 screens away on the return trip. Now that I know about using a PS3 controller though, that may change.
Skyward Sword - Covered this in the thread dedicated to it. Nice game, constant dungeon layout kept you involved with less noticeable of a split in "chapters". Terrible overworld.
Arc Rise Fantasia - Stopped. Not on the priority list, but on the list all the same. The voices just got under my skin from the get go. I'm sure there's worse out there, so not sure why, but it just did.
Valkyria Cronicles - Bought, need to play.
Star Ocean 4: International - Bought, need to play.
Tales of Graces F - Need monies.
Jak Collection - Need monies.
Sly Collection - Need monies.
God of War Collection - Need monies (also a shame the person I recommended to work there isn't there anymore either, so I can't just "get" a copy of this and the other collections.)
FFXIII - Need monies.
Disgaea 4 - Need monies, and time to finish 3 first.
Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty/A Crack in Time - Need monies. I will buy QfB regardless of the majority negative reviews on length and originality as it ties into the story. I will not however buy All 4 One. Played the demo and I just don't like it.
Xenosaga 2, 3 & 5 (Gears) - I'll get to it.
Persona 3 & 4 - Ditto.
Atlus GBA & DS titles - I said I'd get to it dammit!
40 Game Genesis Collection PC version - Just get me a digital cord to my mind. Time is beyond me.
Want to replay when I find the time .
-FFX
-FFX-2
-FFXII
-Star Ocean 3
-DQ8
-.Hack
-Lunar PS1
-Tales of the Abyss
-Skies of Arcadia: Legends
Also need to buy more shelves so that I can get all my games out of the cardboard box I have to store them in for now. Outta sight, outta mind can be a real problem.
Finally got around to finishing Revelations story mode. I wish I had more free time
ending spoilers
Spoiler
1) Damn, Norman was hard, That was probably the most interesting boss fight in a resident evil game that I've played though. Actually having to think about what I'm doing rather than Shooting the weak point for massive damage.
2) Oh god that stinger at the end... So I guess Jessicas probably going to be responsible for the pomegranatestorm going down in RE6...

Need to get:
Mass Effect 3 (March 6th)
Tales of Graces F (March 13th)
Xenoblade Chronicles (April 3rd)
Sly 4 (June)
Still waiting for that Ratchet patch. Managed to finish up Sly 2 with a platinum a few weeks ago. Just beat Jak 1 in a quick run through with a platinum. Expecting 2 and 3 to be more challenging given that they are an entirely different breed of game.
Breaking from Final Fantasy XII again. Gonna play a bit more on Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, see if I can make some Ceanataur S before I go any further in 8* Nekoht.
Gonna be copying other people cool and start an "I beat this year list" too.
In 2012 I've beat...
Assassins creed 2/BrotherHood/ Revelations
Super Mario 3d Land
Mario kart 7 (Can you beat a mario kart game? Unlocked everything anyway, bar some of the ridiculous gold parts)
Resident Evil revelations.
Sonic Generations (3DS)
Professor Layton and the Last Spectre
3d Classics Kid Icarus/Kirbys Adventure
Deciding whether to finish Tales of the Abyss or Crack open my shiny new copy of The last story and start that.
Probably gonna go at the extra challenges in Resi: Revelations too. Aloof challenger looks like a peach. And Dillons Rolling western.
Was playing dragon quest 9, but I think I'm going to drop it, I don't like it as much as some other RPGs I've played recently.
Haven't bothered posting too much in here recently, didn't see much of a reason to once I set up my Backloggery account. The history page shows what I've beat and some other statistics as well, like newly purchased games.
Forgot to mention Sonic Generations, so there was that too, which I very much enjoyed actually. Still had the occasional collision issue as with all the 3D ones, but seeing Chemical Zone recreated was worth it for me.
And... yeah. That's more an excuse to post for something else I only recently became aware of, but don't feel like creating a topic for it since I'm late to the party.
Now that I own a PS3...
... the Tester ...? Really? I worked there AS ONE a few years ago, and it ain't something to publicly humiliate yourself for. It also better not have been the reason why they stopped calling back old employes in their temp list just leading them on that they would have a job later. If they really made my job a reward for some gameshow... I just... I don't want to support them anymore at all. On the positive note, I bought the PS3 Used.
