I've seen some pretty odd smega wars.
Including one yesterday in KMS which was (apparently) two kids arguing about Bleach.

I doubt it would survive the week. Between the blantant hacking discussion and all the vulgarity, I can't see that thread remaining unlocked. I would like to have that thread though, would make a good read.

ATK doesn't mean pomegranate in PvP. Battle ATK is all that matters. Have a decent amount of that and you'll always beat people with hacked weapons.

Sure about that? From what I read, and through extractions, Battle Attack gives +X% PvP Damage.

The math takes too long to do by hand for me right now, let me see if I can find a thread on it.

i still have my humongous copy pasta somewhere i think, i'm pretty much the one that destroyed the %dmg>%atk argument in basil.

depends, in a perfect scenario without rounding, they are exactly the same, in maplestory, since attack always gets rounded down (so if you have 6% and the result is 130.9attk, it would be 130 attk)means %damage will have a maximum of 0.999...attk increase over %attk.

but then there's buffs and stuff that tip the scale one way or another, dark aura being %attack means it stacks additively with % attack while multiplicatively with %dmg/boss, and %attack stacks multiplicatively with %boss while dmg is additive.

that's pretty much it in a nutshell.
