    ^ Your Display made me get the thought of Cutter Kirby looking somewhat like Soul Blade.
    I Acually have the assumption KMS will give Hurrican and TT to the Bowman and Thief Knight Class.. Cause evey other basic 4th Skill for these were placed into this,

    Brandish for Heros -- Meteor for F/P -- Fist for Pirates --

    These jobs will cause major inflation on specific items for these classes. I mean, they BASICALLY made the most popular weapons into these knight jobs. Please not make the archer bows >< that would suck and totally defeat the purpose of my bowmaster... I guess I'll be glad that they can't go to HT, assuming they keep their usual archer HP gain...

    These classes seem a little, too good right now. These classes will be the final end of maple i predict. every one will want one cause they're over powered and "godly" and new.

    with soul blade set at 220% and that mini fj for gathering, youll hardly need brandish. thats already practically 4th job damage. brandish only adds 340% to a previous max of 1100%. approximately a 33% increase in potential damage. soul charge beats it (straight up 40%). combo beats it in its current form (120%: 200% + 4*5% of total damage). advanced combo probably beats it - but we need to see some numbers before saying so.

    Has anyone considered the possibility of the bowman class getting sharp eyes? :s I'm assuming the thief one would have Haste.

    Bowmen hybrid will have SE for sure. The Thief hybrid will have Haste, because that's one of the few buffs besides Meso Up.

    I’m impressed with what i see so far apart from the mage. The striker looks good but not all that different from bucs. The warrior really has me interested. I have never liked warriors all that much. The only exception is brandish which i <3. The Soul Warrior looks like it has a really different play style from normal warriors, in second job at least. It is the best looking so far but i have been waiting to see the thief version since it was first announced.

    Not to mention they also have soul charge which gives them extra power without the elemental drawback. Soul Blade is a powerful ranged mob attack and they fall somewhere between a hermit and a mage with teleport in mobility.

    I'm expecting Sharp Eyes and Hurricane plus Haste and Triple Throw for the remaining two. I can see people making Strikers and Windraiders for Speed Infusion and Sharp Eyes mules.

    Well here's a vid of a lvl 120 soul warrior, the quality is pretty crappy but it gives a good view on the class and the soul blow skill.

    Quick calc... 4700 max range, 42000 max (per hit) with 240% Brandish: 17500 + wdef (500) = 18000 / 4700 = 383% damage


    # 383% - Soul Warrior (140% soul charge * 270% combo... 5 orbs)
    # 190% - Hero (190% advanced combo, 10 orbs)
    # 210% - Paladin (140% holy charge * 150% elemental)

    A hero would need a base range of 8700 to hit that damage with Brandish.

    A level 200 Hero with 1200 STR, 156 atk has that 8700 range.
    Note: 1200 str = +201 (99 from MW, 101 from gear)


    The guy in the video was 100 base dex, 117 sword + 8 atk glove + 10 rage, 147 total attack (presumably the other 12 is from a level 120 "main" character), and he had +33 str.


    Yes, they are currently stronger than level 200 Heroes...



    @ ape are you joking? He hit over 50k with soul blow, and it's only 310%. That's equivalent to a night lord hitting 40k without Sharp Eyes on a single crit.

    Wow those are some broken numbers. Considering his stats and equips if he were GMS equivalent... I don't even want to think about whether or not he had a parent lol

    I think his parent was level 13x, not certain what the skill icon looked like but he has a level 13 beginner skill.


    And yeah he's pretty weak compared to some GMS chars. My gear would be good enough to put that 660 STR up to ~760, & probably break 50k per hit with Brandish. Not to mention using a MW mule would give you additional 10% boost to base stats.

    Seeing these new classes really makes me wanna quit my Paladin and Bishop altogether. wtp Brandish at 3rd job and Meteo at 3rd job...? -_-!

    I think this whole Knights of Cygnus thing was a terrible idea considering that Nexon can't come up with any creative ideas and just copy/pastes the same class's skills, maybe tweaking some of the properties and graphics of some of them. Unless nexon surprises us, there's almost no way that these can be well balanced out with the main classes. The only thing that comes close to interesting, for me, is the warrior flash jump. Also, the archers better not get sharp eyes, or we'll be entering the new age of level 80 sharp eyes mules.

    These jobs kinda defeat the prupose of high level characters don't they? They have a combine skill set of ALL the branch characters and even if they have weaker versions of the skills, they get bonus ap AND get them easrlier than others. What will be the point in actually making a normal character now. when these characters can easily outdamage the normal class. warrior + flashjump is basically a godly class by itself. amazing damage and mobility? watch the bowmans use bows, be able to freeze and use a powered up version of hurricane with SE... there goes my bowman.

    I really like the concept, but these characters are really over powered. if equally equipped, they will almost guarantee that the main class will NEVER overpower it.
