That was an awesome video, but I felt that they over did the throwing of the thumbs coupled with a goofy smiles a lot.

Sucks that the Original is only in the Blue Print for a random selection of class weapons, guess I am waiting for it to drop on me.

The Manno-Technology Pack, featuring eight new Deus Ex themed items.
The Machina (Sniper Rifle) - At a full charge, damage is increased by 15% and shots pierce enemies. The trade-off is no no-scope shots and the fact that your bullet tracers are visible.
The Diamondback (Revolver) - Works like a reverse Frontier Justice. Earn one critical shot for every building you have destroyed or assisted in destroying with a Sapper, but the gun does 15% less damage and can't randomly crit. Don't bother using it if there's no Engineers on the other team.
The Widowmaker (Engineer Shotgun) - All damage dealt is returned to you as ammunition, and the gun doesn't need to be reloaded. However, the gun uses your metal supply as ammo, and shooting costs 60 of it.
The Short Circuit (Engineer Secondary) - Firing generates an electric field that destroys projectiles, damages enemies, and doesn't need to be reloaded. However, like the Widowmaker, this weapon draws from your metal supply and uses 35 metal each time you fire it.
Good news! The patch also added a recipe for the Original. You can now craft it for the low, low price of two Scrap and one Reclaimed.
Oh god, a GOOD SNIPER RIFLE for once.
FFFUUUUUuuuu I can't wait until they're craftable FFFUUuuu.

Yeah, I just figured that out.
Can't wait to test it out.
I actually found the Original as a drop - for some reason, I enjoy it way more than the stock rocket launcher (in preference order, it'd be original>liberty>stock>direct hit; haven't tried cow mangler or black box yet).
*sigh* More weapons to add to my list of what to get. I'm kind of curious on how effective the Engie's new weapons are.
I hate that loud sound effect when someone gets a double headshot though. I'm hoping they'll adjust it. :/
yeah, I am not liking the multiple sniper skill sound stacking for each kill, being louder with more kills, and I play with earbuds!
I hear the 'must-have' engineer weapon is the short circuit for defending your buildings.
No, it isn't. Both the new engineer weapons are probably some of the best weapon ideas valve has come up with for any class in the last year, but they're terribly underpowered. They both need some tweaks.
Also, you should all get the genuine versions, because the new Deus Ex game is gonna be pretty great.
Free birthday hat in TF2 today if you don't have one - all you have to do is log in.
The day I had to be away....
To be honest, it's not that impressive of a hat. It only looks good on the Pyro (and kinda decent on the soldier). And it's untradable so it's one of those "You own it or you don't" kind of things.
Also got a noisemaker which is unlimited use but only good for the one day. So yea. Kind of lame, IMO, but free stuff is free stuff.
I've been wanting a Strange Shotgun, Flamethrower and Rocket Launcher, and only have two refined at the moment, if I can afford any of the three at the moment, then that would be awesome!
So, random question. Has anyone ever Named/Described their weapons?
I have three. All of them Pyro melees (Pyro is my most-played class).
My Homewrecker is named "Super Steveio's Sapper Smashing Service". No description.
My Powerjack is named "Assault and Battery", with a description of "For when arson isn't enough."
and my Backscratcher is named "Rake N' Bake", with a description of "You will be baked, and then there will be rake."
I don't have any name tags >_<.
