Sorry that I haven't posted in a while! My senior year in high school just started, and so I've been overwhelmed with APs and applications galore. On top of that, Papulatus has recently been owning me roughly 50% of the time with a deadly dispel + bomb explosion combo, an unavoidable attack where you lose MG the exact moment a bomb that hits for 3k+ damage explodes on top of you. It started happening so often I just decided to not ss any of them.
Needless to say, with a lot of those deaths recently I decided to give my soloing strategy another redo, a chance to get back to the drawing board and rethink how I approach the boss. The way I came up with is something old for everyone, but rather difficult to do (excuse me, impossible) without being at the proper level. This new technique is much faster, as you'll see with my new record time at the bottom of this post, but can only be done when you have at least 2k HP and 8k+ MP.
Simply put, I am now attacking from the platforms instead of on the ground now. Because I have 2.1k HP and 13.2k MP, I can easily survive any bomb Pap throws at me, provided I have MG on. Since you cannot be stunned or dispelled on the platforms, this means (1) I cannot die, as evidenced by two successful solos tonight, and (2) I can attack much more frequently, as I am not having to rebuff or sit there till stun wears off. Many people would think that summons then wouldn't be able to do much, which is the case, but to set some fears aside they still attack sometimes, and the time dropped from attacking with single target spells more frequently greatly exceeds the time gained from having summons attack less frequently. In short, this is a much better method.
So for those of you skipping the wall-of-text, or who just finished reading, here are my last 4 successful solos:
Still no good drops X_X. New record time without changing any equips or skills but merely battle strategy is 21:30 min, a clean 2 min off by simply platforming instead of ground attacking.
Finally, sorry for the initial walls of text. Now that I know how to Pap without dying once a night, I'll only post screenies and a little sentence or two about the runs if I need. So yea, sorry for posting so much so far, as it won't happen in the future.

Lots of fun this afternoon. :P
There was one Tae Roon and one Stumpy that didn't give me a blue message because they were already spawned by someone else (and left walking around). I killed one more Bigfoot before the one shown, as well. However, after I already had it over half dead, an I/L arch mage came and glitched it ("rayhovite" = ice demon Bigfoot glitch abuser, ya). I still got the Toe, but I forgot to SS because he made me mad.
I finally got one of my best friends (IRL) back on his MS character today! He hasn't played in over two years. I didn't make sure he hit the 2nd body on the 1st run, so that's what you see happening in that SS. Lol He ended up dying the 2nd run due to lag, but it was still fun. :(
Oh yeah! I forgot to mention a few things. The Snowman boss doesn't give a blue message, but I killed all 19 Snowmen today (every ch). One of them gave me a Casters! And in the Headless Horseman pic, that Sader came in near the end and tried KSing me. >_> Right.

Pretty luck to find casters from snowman. I hunted them like mad when they first came out and only got one scroll from about 100 of them.
Yay! My first Pianus solo! I'm trying to incorporate fishing into my daily MS life. :D It was very easy, especially considering I've rarely ever Pianus'd before.

Pretty much. F3 I can efficiently kill any boss in GMS by myself. The only one that I do not enjoy fighting solo is Tengu :(... I haven't solo'd Zakum yet, but I know I'm capable of doing so! I just want to wait until I meet a few more personal goals.

I spent the night helping my friend get his Silver Deputy Star! Headless Horseman was such a pain. We spent hours hunting that stupid nib, and he kept mocking us by not dropping his head. ;_; But we made it!
I didn't screenshot the HHs, because I was lazy. And I didn't screenshot the first Bigfoot because, again, an I/L arch mage glitch KS'd me. Idiots.

Having leveled last night, I decided I'd had enough waiting around and that I would *Finally* go after that Pap curl today. I got frustrated waiting around up above for a DK for an hour (there's so many things that I could say about this but I'm not gonna get into it here.) and so, I decided I'd give it a shot myself.
I managed to max bomb spawn and this is by far the farthest I'd gotten on my own. I don't think it's so bad considering I couldn't even take a touch. XD That's what finally got me, btw, a stun+touch while I was trying to recast. I'll probably wait until either one of three things happens:
1. Get a Stirgeman Cape of wiliness (lol fat bastard's never gonna give me that.)
2. Get the pap curl (If DK hunting today is any indication this is still a long way off)
3. Level 4 more times to 110, which ought to give me enough for a hit.
