Still, what could be in Old Sappe that the Versalians want? if there were a few extra rooms attached to the Enigma Chamber, that would make sense, but an entire town? The place is in ruins, if it indeed exists still.

Also, we need room for Pharoah's Gate... If Old Sappe was a town the Yetinx chambers would smash right through it.

How would the MesoGears be as large as they are if the ruins were small?

Besides, Old Sappe was a bustling town, from what we can find from the Prendergast Ghosts. There is no way the town was small. It could be there, but it cannot be under the entirety of NLC.

    look at the video:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJnfNVWywrM

do you see the town in 0:00~0:10?
this is a ruined city, which was covered under the central city. the only way to get there was toward a church.
a huge secret which nobody knew about.
as you can see, the city in the anime isn't completely ruined. so nexon possibly could make the same thing in the game. [omg, another "taken from anime" accident]

    offtopic:
the anime is awsome. watch it.

    Huh, I see your point...

Imagine they used the time machine thing to get to elin forest... but to get to old sapp village too...

NOW THAT would be a good way to go.

Great plan, except that at the time period that the Ellin maps exist, Masteria is still missing. I think the best way to handle this town would be to have portions of it still exist within the Versal dimension, or to have a special time travel in Masteria which is unique from the one in Ludi that transports one to Victoria of the past. After all, we do have that time traveler sitting on the cloud in the town square, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to justify a new and different time travel to the past that way.

Well there's no rule that says that the Time Machine in Ludi can only send you back to one point in time. I mean, if we're already accepting the fact that we can go back, then why not just set it to a date before Masteria disappeared?

Using the Ludi time machine is still a possibility, but I agree that it's more likely that Foxwit will do it himself, perhaps making a quick reference to the Time Control Room in Ludi as part of his explanation.

I would like to go back to Krakia, too, as these plant-people sound interesting.

Imagine a PQ where you help the original CW Grandmasters fight the Krakians.

BTW, Isaac, are you gonna add Shadowknight and (whatever is the good version of Firebrands) descriptions?

We can not rule out the time machine, I mean it should have the capability to switch how far back or forward it is going to send you... lots of time machines had that function such as the car in back to the future and the machine from the old PlayStation game Ape Escape... That would be interesting to be able to travel to Old Sapp Village through the ludi time machine. As for the Versal world...If the continent sank in the Maple world that means it has just risen from the sea in the Versal world seeing that most of the hints point out that we are like some sort of mirror opposite of there world...The Versal Old Sapp Village had to be only there for 1000 years, because that when the continent had to have been resubmerged.

as for the prof. foxwit time travel, maybe the foxwit den or whatever its called will shine light on this :D

But if one were to use the same time machine to go to a different point in history JUST to access Masteria at another point in time, there would need to be a set of maps TO GET TO Masteria from the Ludus Lake area.

Unless we're making the assumption that the time machine can travel through the 3rd dimension as well as the 4th. I was under the impression that the reason why it drops you in ancient Victoria was that Victoria used to exist in what is now Ludus Lake, but for some reason (probably an attack from the Dark Magician) got knocked out.

Still though, we've got this time traveler here in the town, and he probably owns a time machine of his own. I think it makes more sense to maintain the idea that the time machine wouldn't travel through the 3rd dimension... I always hate when in fiction, characters live in America, travel through time, and end up in medieval Europe. Freaking annoying.

It would be interesting, though, if you were aiming for CWK, but you chose the year that Masteria transported to Versal. So yes, you do end up in CWK, in time to see it get owned by whatever in Versal is that powerful.

A little off topic but I just wanted to extend the idea of moving in the 3ed dimension. There always has to be some movement because if there wasn't you would end up in the same spot as you started, just in a different time. And to use the earth as an example, you would probably be in space, since the earth would be in a different position than where you started, depending on what time of history you choose to visit.

For example, if you stared in America in the spring and wanted to visit America six months earlier, the earth have moved underneath you to a position halfway around its orbit. If you didn't move along with it, you would occupy the same space you did in spring, leaving you alone, with no planet.

Although I don't really know what kind of rotation the maple world is meant to have.

These are the kinds of thoughts that keep me from doing anything useful.

edit: although I don't disagree, it is rather annoying that that kind of thing is never taken into consideration, and its just meant to part of your suspension of disbelief.

I'm aware of this, but this sort of thing is a lot easier to suspend disbelief on.

Also: it could be argued that the time traveling matter could still be affected directly by forces of the Earth. Basically, even though the time traveling matter would basically jump from one time to another, the matter would still be affected by Earth's gravity, which would maintain it's physical location on the Earth, even in relation to the planet rotating beneath it.

You still have to deal with the fact that Helios Tower is like thousands of feet above ground level so if you respawned in the past at the exact same physical location you'd have quite a fall.

The fact that you end up in Elin Forest on the ground perfectly fine is proof that the machine doesn't keep you in the same place.

I always figured that the tower coincided with a point in the heights of the trees of the forest.

I was thinking more in terms of rotation around the sun, than daily rotation, in which case the earth would be too far away for gravity to have any effect. But ya, I see what you're saying. Actually any kind of explanation is better than most stories.

"We were sitting there then we went though time, but I don't know how or why lol"
