Downright reckless to put potential scrolls anywhere near this but the bonuses off weapons were really, REALLY too good to pass up. I'm out of NX for cubes though, L> +12% INT/total damage D:
I used 5 cubes and then got a potential scroll and used it on my reverse gun. came out +6 luk and 10% chance of lvl 3 darkness.
Anyone have any idea what the, "Ignore %%d% of the target's physical/magical attack when attacking +30," means?
Oh yeah, I used normal potential scrolls on all my equips except for my helm which I used an advanced potential scroll on. Guess which one failed.
My feeling right now is to stop when you hit % primary stats, % atk, or % damage on your gear until you've got it on every item you can equip.
Once you've done that, go back and try for better ratings on the worse equips.

From this thread it says:
Weapons - Stat %, W.ATT, M.ATT, Total W.ATT %, Total damage %, M.ATT %, Ignore monster's W.DEF/M.DEF at a certain percentage, 20%~30% bonus damage when attacking a boss monster, Chance to recover HP/MP, All skills +1~2, Max HP/MP, Critical damage, Chance to freeze/poison/seal/slow/blind monster.
Also I can confirm that items can increase in rarity from using cubes. The knuckle went from rare to epic to unique over the course of several cubes. I'd guess it's actually supposed to read, 'Ignore Monster's physcial/magical defense 30% of the time.' I did notice that items didn't seem to gain anymore potential stats even after several cubes were used on them. Guess I'll continue altering the knuckle in a couple weeks/months.
first one just before SC Brown Moon Glove 3luk 1 acc 2x def, stats added +3 luk +50 def
Guess that's good news for me then, I thought it was always random.
Where are you guys getting your Potential scrolls? From the cubes or did you find them?
Lol, I'm finding this to be very fun.
