Crafted 9 cubes to get 6%luk on a heart I bought recently.

Epic'd it with that 100% we got for compensation last week and threw it in storage after nebbing it, so that's why the chatbox says obtained epic. I threw 1 of the 9 cubes on it thinking 'it'd be cool if this ranks up in this stack of cubes'.

You have to realize how often people post failures (no one, unless it's like "lol look at these 30% LUK I got on my archer gear) vs actual successes. Just think about how many fail in between the ones that work, which people post.

That really depends I guess. I'm getting/making about 6~8 master craftsmen cubes per day, and I've been doing that for a week now. That's 42+ cubes for a tier-up.

The ring that I cubed just happened to be the 2nd one I used on it!

Maybe? I got my Tyrant Gloves to tier up to Unique with a couple Meister Cubes the other day. So that makes 2 tier ups with crafted cubes in about a week, and I only had enough materials for a couple dozen cubes.

No, they haven't. It's just sheer luck, my numbers are everywhere. For reference, for my last ten (Blaze Wizard) equips, in newest-to-oldest order, that I have been working on were this: 20 (and still cubing), 19, lol1, 33, 23, 32, 26, ohjesus46, headdesk43, 34, 19. So pray to whatever RNG gods you frequent and toss that cube, or don't it doesn't seem to matter.
