A pretty old guy.
If I think your vote was suspicious, and the person you voted agrees with me, even if they are both suspicious I'm still going to be more wary of the person I initially found suspicious.
And, at that, how is that a conviction for me over Olsi? I voted you before Olsi voted. Was I supposed to know Olsi would vote you and preemptively find him suspicious?
u pretty much hit it on the head. i wont lie to yall cuz nothing good comes from lying. i really dont have much to say. just dont need Luv coming at me with the pitchforks saying "lynch the witch" LOL. am i really ignoring things that have been said....NOPE. its all being read at least twice, maybe more with the constant refreshing. if i see something worthwhile i promise i will preach it![]()
No, I had suspicions of you because of the way you were acting. But now you are playing more like I know you to.
I was in doubt of who to vote there, voting you had more chance of seeing a worthy reaction. I don't suspect you anymore.
Edit: also, every time I post I keep thinking of all the ways to twist what I say into something suspicious. Which is great for my self esteem.
[vote] @y0y0y0y0shi0;
I don't exactly trust your vote right now. You're using a lot of circular reasoning and a lot of your posts appear to be worded intentionally to be confusing to read while seeming like you're making a perfectly logical point. @Shidoshi; is characteristically aggressive in the early game and I was curious to see who, if anyone, would decide to go along with my vote. Your behavior alongside Doshi's unrefuted claim (I recommend people look up what role a Maester serves and question whether we really want to risk that kindof a lynch) is enough cause for me to change my vote.
Luv is still on my watch list, I want to keep that perfectly clear. As before, I think he's way too vulnerable to a lynch, though, which makes him a prime target (if townie) for mafia to set up to take a fall, guilt-free.
@Shidoshi; Your reasonings for the previous day really were not that great, although admittedly there was not much to go off of. I'm not really going to take the emotional parts into account, since people either get emotional, crazy, or role reveal when they are about to be lynched. I get why you initially voted for me, since I really don't post anything initially. I also get why you jumped on Olsi when Verrkol voted for him since you wanted to get rid of either me or him. But your reasoning that we where repeating/agreeing or posting flavor really were not that great. There is not much to post the first couple of hours, and without knowing the GoT lore it would be hard to see all the hints from flavor. I voted for TheBirds to to see if he had anything else to say, because he usually does notice a few things but stays silent till the later days, which really does not help the rest of us. I was not expecting him to be voted off as you had the majority vote at that time and there was only a couple hours left. I didn't vote for you because I had already explained my reasons for voting for TheBirds and I didn't think switching my vote to you was a good idea because I didn't think you were mafia. If I had switched my vote, then it is likely you would have died, with a 3:2 vote. Hyper's vote makes sense if he thought theBirds was trying to claim as the onion knight when he was. That would have still left you with the earlier votes, but Luv voted for thebirds because of inactiveness, which wasn't a really good reason. I see why you immediately jumped on that, but honestly, if luv had not voted for thebirds, you yourself would be dead. I was kind of torn weather to vote for Luv or you, but it really didn't look like your read my posts yesterdayIt really looked like you wanted me to vote for you, so I shall for nowNiernen's position of not voting for me "even though he has no better candidates" has me dying to lynch him too, but I'm going with Olsi who's first important vote was an OMGUS.[vote]Shidoshi;. This way I'm not. Luv would be my next candidate, as Mas said, I don't think we should give him too much room.just commenting on a lot of things without committing to votes
@MetaSeraphim; You still here? Anything happen to you last night? I get you may not be interested to play if you are just a vanilla townie, but are you keeping up with what is going on?
And while typing this a whole new page pops upMissed the whole thing with Y0shi, reading that now.
Something (maybe not entirely relevant right now) that I noticed is most of the first votes are "to get people to talk". This usually causes the person voted against to come in and defend themselves, when the may not have posted much or anything otherwise. Of course, if they don't respond then it does looks suspicious. But wouldn't that go against the whole "don't vote off inactives" everyone was preaching about yesterday? Voting to get someone to talk is pretty similar to voting for someone because they are inactive. And then removing the vote if they just come and say hi, its voting for the sake of voting and accomplishes nothing. And to point out, but if a townie has a useful power, wouldn't they try to be a bit more active and invested in the game? While a power helps, if you stay silent we don't know what you are doing and it looks like you are not involved.

I know my posts have been worded extremely poorly. I'm having trouble putting together words right now. I got my point across and that was all I was really hoping for. Brain is farting with regards to using the words that I want to use.
But I'm not voting for anyone right now. And I started the vote on Shidoshi yesterday so I'm not exactly sure how I'm following your vote.
I stated Shidoshi seemed aggressive. Which, objectively, is rather scummy to me. I haven't seen enough of Shidoshi's early game to know that's expected of them, all I know is that it didn't seem consistent with what little I've seem from them in the past. Other games I've seen, Shidoshi hasn't really seemed to...care(?) all that much about the game, but now it seems they're rather emotionally invested. That stuck out to me.
And you should know by now that I'm not one to immediately write someone off as town based on their claim. I'm a much stronger advocate of scumhunting over gaming the setup.
Yes I have. All I have to add is that the only person I feel like is standing out at the moment is MasPan.
Why?
Because on D1 all he did was finger point. List out reasons why the person should be watched and etc, under the guise that when he isn't mafia he tends to get killed off early. I feel like this could be some skilled misleading by MasPan and when he doesn't end up dead and fingers start pointing at him he can easily claim that mafia could be doing some WIFOMing by leaving him alive so that the town will waste a day voting him off.
Of course my reasons for believing he could be mafia are WIFOM in their own right, but it is all I got at the moment.
The difference between early Day 1 voting and Inactivity Lynching is that the Day 1 vote doesn't have the intent to actually lynch anyone, while Inactivity Lynching is specifically designed to take someone out because they are inactive under the theory that they must be mafia otherwise they would be talking (which usually isn't true on Day 1).
So in other words I'm acting so much like a townie that, knowing me, it must be manipulation because I'm me. I'm flattered lol. I think any game where Meta and I don't suspect one another is automatically going to be suspicious, though - we've played mafia together/against each other for so long now that we can't help but be wary of the other.
Now I'm really wondering why is Polantaris biting on my foot.
I really have no idea why. I was just playing like a normal person.
Well, last night was rather uneventful for me. I am still not sure what to make of yesterday and today's post because it has been a great amount of words with little meaning. The only vote I don't quite understand is VerrKol's. All of the other vote seem justified in some way, either in self-defense or in defense in someone else. I guess the difficult part is telling whether these votes link those who seem to have some type of alliance. Shidioshi and Luv seem like easy targets, and Olsi seems to be a defended target as well. Today is probably going to be another shot in the dark...
I am going to hold off from voting right now while I collect my thoughts and filter through the information we have.
Since I'm already half a foot in claiming, might as full claim.
I'm Maester Aemon and I'm an Odd-Numbered Night Doctor and I'm town.
On Night 1 I protected Polantaris, because he's generally a good player and he seemed town. It hurt me when I read the doctor must not know much of GoT flavour for not protecting Kyra and couldn't comment on it, ouch.
I wanted to hold off claiming for obvious reasons, but I guess it's better to die Night 2 than waste Day 2's lynch. @Olsi; I held off claiming Day 1 because it was only really close to the end of the Day that I became at risk of being lynched. At which point there was little time for people to go and change votes. I also really didn't want to have to claim since it means I'll probably die the night after. It's part of the reason I was urging people not to be so hasty with claims on D1.
I really don't like your claim Shidoshi. We have over 24hrs before the next lynch and already you've given up on remaining hidden because of a small number of votes. I'm not sure if this actually has any implications about your faction, but it seems like a poor move in either case.
So it seems I'm at the same time claiming too soon and too late. Nice.
you had so much time before you had to resort to a full roleclaim. There was little pressure on you because it was the start of the day.
Sigh. I guess shidoshi will die tonight if he isnt full of it. also seems like maspans last message was trying to convince people to ignore metas post
Not sure if I completely buy the "Odd nights doctor" part - it's a really convenient excuse to "miss" a protect tonight.
