If you don't have any godly/good scrolled lv140/150 gear, should you just scroll clean SW? For the armors, not the weapon. I managed to get a cape that has 4 slots with 1 attack, and clean gloves and boots, should I just scroll them? The shoes don't come with attack, but I don't know if its worth it to chaos lv140 shoes/gloves/cape, would I get anything significantly better?

if your starting from scratch its a better idea to just scroll your sweetwater gear. its not worth it to chaos 140 shoes/gloves/cape in my opinion. to get an idea of why its not worth it; ive used over 250 denaros and my cape still wont turn.

Thanks for the reply. I guess Ill probably use some red armour scrolls or something and save the chaos for RA set.

I approach this question on multiple fronts:

A. "Am I going to use, or do I have Innocence Scrolls or Return Scrolls to attain the stats I want in the highly likely situation where Chaos Scrolls act like a jerk?" The answer for most people is no, Return Scrolls are more expensive that they ought to be and Innocence Scrolls from the RED Shop would clean someone out of Coins relatively quickly. In this case, scrolling Empress gear, which should continue to decline in price is a good idea, if it fails buy another and try again. If that scrolling fails, fuse the two and you get a "free" equip to try again.

If you have many Hot Time mules and have hoarded the 100% Innocence from some time ago or have plenty of Coins to buy Innocence, then sure, feel free to start scrolling the Sweetwater.

B. This ties in with the second half of A., "Am I going to get another Sweetwater ________, by drops or through the FM?" The answer is probably no, at least not without paying out the wazoo. If you can't Innocence it, then all you have is one shot to probably fail. Buying Empress again will be the cheaper alternative to replacing the equip to rescroll (barring Innocence).

C. "Do I have all the pieces of the Sweetwater Set and do I want the Set Effect now?" Basically, the YOLO question. If you are content with some end result like +5 ATT from Chaos or something like that then have at it, be the spiffy pirate that you are and equip the set.

Hey! What about all that Denaro I am going to waste trying to transpose it?! Well, to me Denaro is an "infinite" resource and it isn't that difficult to get more, one merely needs to be diligent, Sweetwater Equips are, by comparison, significantly more "finite," the mesos to buy a new one are harder to get, getting the equip from bossing is even harder yet. Sweetwater Equips are endgame to me so I will have patience in scrolling them exactly how I want them, or at least to a point where I am not annoyed looking at it.

TL;DR: If you are aiming from some particular stats (e.g. +10 ATT from Chaos) you are probably better off buying Empress to scroll and fuse failures for more things to scroll. If you don't care, scroll the Sweetwater Equip as is. If you have patience and this is truly your endgame, diligently try to transpose, if not, scroll it as is and hope for the best.

@Chilly; Thanks. I think I will probably leave the SW set alone for now, and wait to see If I can get a scroll to turn the Zero weapon into a SW one. I already have RA top/bottom/hat That I'm planning on Pscrolling, So i'll leave the SW aside for now. Not sure if I should do RA top/bottom and drop the RA hat for a SW one if I can't get a SW scroll.

transposing off to a bad start already:
1. psoked my cape to give to my friend
2. he transposes on first try.
3. he forgot to psok the cape beforehand.
4. heartbreak.

right after this i transposed my gloves and got them to work on the first try.
i dont know what is going on but im still at a loss.

I have not found a single SW drop before or after the change. I just bought them...

Took me 49 tries to transpose my Whip Blade. I was at the point where I was just going to stop trying for a while until I built up enough Denaro to start doing 10 tries a day again.

All I find is superiors, although cubic blades and chaos cubic blades do seem lower.

Atm 2, stopped running on my AB requires too much effort to do it on that class. So only running on my Aran, and Zero for now. Both using the unique inner 13% item drop and the daily 2x drop.

Unless someone has experience otherwise, I'm fairly sure tradability only applies to weapons (primary weapons, this means katara doesn't count) whether it was PSoked before or didn't need to at all. I remember somebody else saying he/she tried to PSoK a glove and it just turned to untradable immediately. So basically any armors will automatically become untradable once you transpose it.

An iffy system then, since apparently even though when I tested, a completely clean untouched sw Katara was transposed with a unworn scrolled katara and immediately turned it into untradable. Well that's just the katara, that's my only experience with it.

Do drop multipliers even work for Sweetwater stuff? I recall early on in some thread where people were first talking about SW drops, those with 1x seemed to be doing just as well as those who used 2x or more drop multipliers.

It definitely works, although it probably isn't worth doing the whole 8x+ thing since your chances are so low.

It's most likely a glitch. I don't feel like you should be able to transpose an item that is scissored.

So when i tried to transpose in the preview it didnt show the pot on my old item? When i reveal it after the transpose will it be the old pot i had?
