Really? I've just been using Beta to one shot everything so far. Goes faster than Alpha or even switching between the two to keep their buffs up.
Plus, she gets 100% Stance early on.
She one-shots everything yes, but her attacks are slow and don't have the mobility of Alpha's attacks. especially the level 120 skill that basically throws Alpha around the map like Sonic the Hedgehog on speed, and has such a large hitbox that it hits enemies on the other side of the map before you even reach them.
Don't care what anyone says, I'm loving this class and not because of the damage. Some people probably hate that they need to follow the quests, but I find every aspect of the mirror world/Zero combination awesome. I know this isn't necessarily true, but it feels like the only class that you actually have to play throughout its entire growth as opposed to making a class just to grind mindlessly at the hotspots while ignoring all quests, all for the purpose of getting to 4th job and becoming an nx dumpster.
I completely agree, there is a very satisfying feeling of growth and unlocking your powers as you level up and progress through the story. It doesn't feel like grinding at all when you are simply enjoying the story and enjoying playing such a fun class.
Playing Zero today for a few hours was one of the most fun maple experiences I've had since I found the game.
The longest, most stressful chapter
You grind out 171-172, 174 at around 60% to 176, and then 178 at around 60% again to 180.
It took me over 100 dungeons to complete this chapter, each dungeon taking me 2-3 minutes
worst... feeling... ever
Justin is right, it was KMS
On a side note, it's fun seeing the weird and crazy antics alpha and beta pull on each other and the people they come into contact with... They really had a lot of fun with this mirror world thing, and it shows.
Can't possibly be worse than Sengoku High or those last 2 Gollux quests
It's a shame Lapiz and Lazuli don't show up in the story more often, they are pretty funny.
Whenever I am upgrading my weapons though, I always talk to them, their dialogue is great.
