Tonight was by far the most fun I've had in league. I got into a random yoloqueue game, and somehow the topic of gays came up, so I just chimed in with something tongue-in-cheek, and they went along with it. Didn't believe I was gay, but added me to their skype call and half the guys were gay as well, so some jokes were made and it was a good time. Didn't lose a single game out of six matches that we played. It's nice playing with gold/plats. Super good control of the map, superior warding compared to lower elo, and good teamfights. I was even brave enough to go Cho mid against Lissandra, and even though I fed quite hard in the early game, once I was able to zone better and stack my ult, I went even by the end of the game. I think I'd like to go ranked with these guys. I also found it really fun and helpful to be in a call with your team. You can focus on positioning rather than having to move and ping for everyone. Getting ganks is a lot better, too, since you know what their plan is instead of just pinging and hoping that someone shows up. I went positive in all the games except for one, and even managed a 6/0 Malphite top against Kennen, even though I've never played Malphite outside of ARAM. It was just a good pineappleing night!

That Teemo (mid?) certainly didn't help you. You at least look to have built properly (Randuins for dealing with Jax *Thumbs up*). Teemo not even breaking 100 cs in a 40 minute game makes me want to cry. TEEMO of all champions. There's something horribly wrong with that.

Had a few good ARAMs, 1 more Ranked win (+24 LP or so per game still, I hope it keeps up that way), then pomegranatety ARAMs when my buddy got online. *Shrug*

Zyra is very powerful if you can learn to use her well. She works very well at least through gold/plat in mid and support in just about any matchup (her major weakness is to Assassins like Kassadin, Talon, Zed, Fizz, etc) but only when they're able to jump on her. In most cases mid you can put her in a bad lane matchup and still come out even+ as long as you can farm safely (most people pre-Gold at least, prob pre-Plat, won't know how to freeze lanes to either zone you out or force you to overextend). Her range is pretty significant and her plants give you a nice buffer, allowing you to farm pretty easily even when behind.

As a support she can function decently offensively or defensively (maxing E first allows you to defend your carry while retreating through snares/slows, maxing Q first gives you incredible harass potential). She doesn't hold as well vs a sustain lane (Sona/Soraka in particular, Taric/Alistar to a much lesser degree) if you're trying to use her offensively, but against anyone else she can singlehandedly zone out the enemy ADC and Support if you have the right setup for her. She does incredible damage with or without items, and just a little bit of magic pen goes a long way for her.

As a support, the typical build goes something like (Ruby) Sightstone, boots (mobility or mpen, situational depending on how much your team is moving around the map), Morellonomicon/Liandry's Torment (M'nomicon gives you better utility/sustain, especially if you don't build a Philosopher's Stone (I don't), Liandry's Torment gives you a LOT more damage (her plants continuously re-proc the damage-over-time effect). The important thing is to understand WHY you build those items, though, and why Zyra is an exception, not the rule (don't build damage or AP mid items on every support ever just because it works on her).

got carried today despite me having the highest gold. I was brand and missed everything on orianna in lane but since we had a jungle leona it was easy for me to combo and guarantee a kill due to my high burst from a stationary stunned target everytime she showed up. I was zoned by ori but didn't never died to her since I had a chalice and carried a ton of hp pots. I did everything a ap carry is suppose to do outside of lane phase though. But leona really carried my through the lane phase and my burst just destroyed them easily. My team considered I carried since I'm the only one who won the lane by a large margin due to leona camping me. But truly I think I got carried because I was being massively outplayed by ori. She dodged pretty much everything and I feel pretty bad about that. But hey these games happen.

Just lost my promo series to Gold III for the 5th (6th? dunno) time, this time playing a bad game with one of my best champs, Lux. Just an off day, I guess.

But this Rammus didn't do anything but call me a f'ucktard all game, calling me retarded for every single skillshot I missed. I...just don't understand how someone can be so rude. As in, I don't understand how he could think that harassing and swearing at me was gonna help. If anything, it just makes things worse. But no, he just kept going on, from about 5 minutes in until we finally surrendered at ~30 mins.

I'd love to put this in the rage thread, but I'm not really angry; I'm just really frustrated and confused.
