You're such a troll. Onto the ignore list you go.
Are you serious? People just don't randomly go from doing 30+ mil to doing ONE damage against a boss when they have 97% PDR Ignore, if PDR Ignore was still additive. Physical Resistance doesn't cut your damage by 100%.
- So basically, because you are ignorant of the reason why people's damage is being reduced, the lot of you have come up with the conjecture that PDR is multiplicative.
- The only problem here is that you cannot prove such. Hence, it's a baseless claim and I honestly hope that you don't expect me to believe what you say without proof.
Want proof? Do basic math.
Assume PDR ignore is still additive.
Let's say you do 1,000,000 (1 Million) damage.
Chaos Vellum has 300% PDR
You have 97% PDR Ignore. That means 9% of your damage will be reduced, which is 90,000 less damage (1% = 10,000). This would mean you would do 910,000 damage to Chaos Vellum.
Now use the multiplicative standpoint from the example I linked previously.
300*0.69*0.7*0.85*0.9*0.94=104.19% PDR31% dark harmony passive
30% codex
15% light washing
10% trait
6% cards
This would mean Chaos Vellum's PDR drops from 300% to 104.19%. Considering PDR reduces your damage by that amount of %, you're going to go from doing 1,000,000 to doing 1, because your damage is reduced by 104.19%.
I'll ask you again. Explain to me how you go from doing 30 million damage to doing 1 damage IF PDR ignore was still additive and you have 97% PDR Ignore? Physical Resistance cuts damage by 50%, which is still 15 million damage.
- Basic math proves nothing, when what you are trying to prove is what Nexon has actually written in their code. However, showing that Nexon actually uses this math in their code is the only thing that can prove that such a formula is used.
- So basically, you are conceding the fact that none of you know why your damage has decreased. Well, concession accepted.
- Oh, and I would advise you not to attempt to fallaciously claim that if someone else cannot fathom an answer, than the answer that you can fathom must be correct. Such is yet another version of the fallacy of ignorance, and it is incredibly illogical to say the least.
The thing is they can prove it based on math, for it to be "fallacious" would be to demonstrate another hypothesis that would contradict the previous "guess". That's basically how all facts are created.
Until you present another possibility, it's then indisputable, that includes proving the math incorrect, thus making it a coincidence. Until you can meet those two previous conditions, what you're saying is wrong and you have yet to demonstrate you have a coherent understanding of what is considered "opinionated". The line is a complete blur to you :|
Hope you guys ain't letting him russle your jimmies.
Also, didn't know ambition ignore def didn't work. That blows.
I'd like to see you show the coding for Nexon's current PDR formula, otherwise your arguments are invalid as well as your statements. Until you reveal said formula, then the several user's math formula's which conveniently fit the damage reduction taken is conveniently true. And if you choose to ignore me or say that you don't have the time/you absolutely don't care/your just being a troll, then we can render that your statements are yet again invalid and we can move on with our forums. If you chose to reply to me without proper showing of said code, then again your arguments are invalid and you're being no more than a troll. But then again your most likely going to say "Why do I have to listen to someone one the internet?" in which it simply either means A: you're too lazy to show evidece/look into it for yourself B: you can not look into the coding therefore you do not know yourself C: you really do know/don't know but you want to bother us.
Either way you still lose.
Oh and next your going to say "Why don't I show what's in the coding?", my reply would be, "Why do I have to listen to someone else on the internet?". Plus this is my challenge to you, if you back down from the challenge go right ahead.
this is really happening? lol
have my (nooby) heart for your efforts that i just cubed a little while ago
shut up i'm afraid of scrolling.. and 2% dex nebs are nonexistent according to 7 days of owling
