They're going to take buccs, nerf them, take out dash and replace it with a new single target punch attack, and make all of their animations mustard yellow. No movement skills and no status resistance.
That's about the worst revamp I can think of. Nexon's already used most of the bad ideas in the last revamp, so what else is there?
Give buccs a base attacking skill in 1st Job that gets upgraded via a passive every advancement.
Some of the other attacking skills can only be used after attacking with the aforementioned move. Other attacks can only be used after using other skills that can only be used after that basic move.
i.e. base skill (tier 1) -> a few skills (tier 2) -> the most powerful skills (tier 3)
Most utility moves like rushes are exempt, except maybe a "shadow step" move to slip past an opponent to dodge attacks and can be slipped in at any point as a dodge cancel kind of move.
Just to prevent skill spamming, and to emulate fighting games.
p.s. Or maybe they should've done that for battlemages instead of keeping them virtually untouched.
Looks like the new animation for Taunt. A pomegranatety skill that probably still exists.
I don't like it, but I might change my mind later on. It looks like Taunt with an animation revamp, and we already know Taunt is useless since it only works on regular monsters, and not party-play mobs or bosses (which is why Stink Bomb Shot got deleted for WH's). If it's a bind or some other debuff, it could have worked better with Shadow Web. I always thought Shadow Web would make a good bind skill if it wasn't tweaked for some other purpose like Stance, or Alloy's trampoline idea, or a clinging to walls effect.

Hundred times this. We need clever skills. We are thieves, we have to use alternative ways to deal damage instead of full frontal agression... The best ranged ideas are taken by archers, with the further the better and quiver effects. But at least let us have some fun... AND MOVEMENT.
