For the love of god I wish a reputable, caring company would take our Dragon Nest off Nexon's butterfingery-ass hands.
I'm tired of playing on a server made of cardboard boxes and scotch tape, and I don't appreciate their pomegranatety CM bullpomegranateting us when all they're doing when they take the servers down is just unplug the box for 10seconds and plug it back in. We're so sure you're getting close to solving the issue. They're behaving like a company who's about to shut down the servers completely soon.
All I've experienced since the merge has been awful lag, and it just seems to get worse.
The problem stems from the fact that Nests reset on the weekends. All the bots come out to farm those Nests on the weekend.
Nexon doesn't work on the weekends unless its something directly related to money. i.e. Karma Koin.
Jump event extended to 17th to get the lvl 24 character/19th getting the lvl 45 character
Bit of a warning in case you guys didn't catch it the first time around.

This event is actually a daily Hot Time event. Gotta be logged in on the character you want to recieve the gifts on at exactly 3 PM PST/6 PM EST.
Update tomorrow!
I definitely expected the Rift (pineapple YES!), but the Suffix II system is a very nice surprise to me as well as the rest of the Lv50 dungeons/quests. Time for everybody to get beefier.Official Catastrophe Content Update - Community Feedback Thread! (12/13 Update)
Greetings Dragon Nest Fans,
The Catastrophe Update will be live tomorrow December 13th! We would like to ask everyone to post their feedback on the new content in this thread. Let us know what you think!
-Dragon Nest Team-
Here is the Update Teaser that was posted today:
-Changes and Updates-
The Catastrophe content will be released on December 13th!
This update includes the following:
-New dungeons and quests in Lotus Marsh!
-New Chaos Rift Padma is now open!
-Craft better equipment with the new suffix system!
-Sharpen your skills in Archbishop and Titan Nest practice modes!
-The Dragon egg has been updated with some items that will make you howl!
-Celebrate the holidays with new Holiday costumes!
-The annual Winter Festival has returned!
Judging from the notice for the Dragon Eggs it sounds like we're getting the new Wolf Mount, which I want so badly but not sure if I'd want to spend who knows how many bucks trying for one especially since I don't think you can even transfer cash items between characters which is an utter fail.
New rift means massive upgrade to my already insane Saint. I've been sitting on 40 cap accessories for so long, waiting for the 50 techs to upgrade.
Saint stats
Also, with the release of Desert Dragon Nest in kDN, there were some pretty major changes implemented, such as...
- Shared storage between characters (!) which even allows for bound items such as sparks and plates to be transferred without needing to be stamped (!!) although the item still must have unbind count in the first place.
- Shared NX storage between characters (!!!)
- Reset sparks are removed. When sparking, you get the option to keep your item's current hidden potential if the new hidden potential sucks. (HOLY POMERGRANATE)
We don't know if we'll ever actually get any of these changes, but I'm fairly confident that we may.

These new dungeons hurt like hell!
Yeah, the new dungeons aren't joking around. If you're not a Cleric, it's a safe bet that you will die if you go up against the Ancient Treasury boss alone in Abyss mode.
And the only way to get the new Suffix II essences is to do them on Abyss and hope you get lucky. If not, you're still going to have to do them on Abyss anyways, to get the Goddess' Mercy for exchange. And you need 25 mercy per essence, and you can only get 15 per day through the daily quests. Best to party up...
(Although I hear that Titan Nest drops them too, but I already ran all my runs for the week, and I haven't checked to see if Nexon reset our nest runs.)
Crafted 2 pieces so far, gloves for life II and weapon for wind II. These dungeons are kinda easy, but still painful. They don't mess around.
Stats at the present time
I find Treasury, Shore, and Village to be the easiest of the dungeons. Isle can overwhelm you easily due to the crow assassins and gun-boars peppering you from a distance, and Frost has tons of enemies in close-quarters that can hit rapidly in some way, like the lizards' lightning rod thingy, the elves' fire throw, gargoyle fire trail, etc. The boss is also a damn tank that can easily rip you apart if you're not taking your time as a melee class.
Well, I guess all of the bosses are a huge threat to melee classes except the boss from Shore, the Mushroom Golem. He's by far the easiest boss in these dungeons and is absolutely no threat to anybody in my opinion. If you don't struggle against the Mushroom Golem in Archbishop Nest then this guy definitely won't give you problems.
I find Treasury the hardest. None of them are truly hard since I just let Alfredo and Quackums and turrets do the work for me. I can 1-2 hit everything with my main mob skills. My basic SP fodder skills take multiple hits.
I mostly have to worry about the black hole and the ice blades. Frost village is easy until the fire elves come out at the boss.
Treasury boss gets really ridiculous once more monsters start spawning into the field. That's the dungeon I like the least, besides Isle with the 'lol assassin crows rapidly hitting you for 10k from out of nowhere'.
Primates, we gotta take you to SDN one of these days. You've clearly got the stats for it.
Also we're getting Nexon'd this morning. No one has any idea what this is for, because Jump characters are coming on Wednesday, not today...

I forgot to mention those mobs...it's not too bad if I have my turrets down and a couple quackums as they spawn, but I usually don't.
As for SDN, just give me a time and date. My winter break begins unofficially on Wednesday and officially on Friday. I plan to not go in Thursday/Friday, but my Calculus teacher ALWAYS gives a quiz on Friday, so I may have to go then.
I would like to try SDN again. Reading the SDN guide sort of gave me an idea on what exactly I have to do, but it might be easier to experience it for myself than reading it.
