So after ~20 games with brand after the release of zombie brand, I no longer think he's really a weaker pick than other mids. His laning phase is as good as it was (after the E range nerf of course) and he puts out what feels like a lot more damage than other mids lategame. With someone like sona, a simple q>e>r>w combo will do insane amounts of damage.
It's a bit harder to carry solo queue with him than it is with other mids, due to his lack of utility and mobility, so he shines a lot more with organized allies.

Got Tristana for free, so going to bench Kogmaw for a bit until I feel decent enough with her.
It feels like Tristana is going FotM.
Suspected this would happen. The last set of buffs she got - and the nerfs that the "holy trinity" of AD carries got across the board - made her a lot more viable.
(Except for one....Riot, y u no fix her jump?! D:)
Only allowed to win twice per day, or else this happens without fail.

Rocket Jump has been quite buggy for God knows how long, and has been the thorn in the ass for many Tristana players. (However, there's been one fix to that ability, implemented in the last patch: interaction with terrain, which is really nice).
However, the little things - such as getting nailed with certain hard CCs (ex: the awkward Blitz pull mid-air) - while in a mid-air jump is quite lame. IMHO, a QoL fix to that would be nice. (more specifically, apply the CC at the completion of the jump, not apply the CC while jumping mid-air).
