The Final Fantasy series doesn't have any continuity (apart from the newer sequels); it's just a bunch of loosely related RPGs that use the same tropes, and quite a few of them are pretty forgettable. You don't really need to play through them all to get a sense of how it's evolved. I'd probably play I -> IV -> VI -> VII -> IX. My favorite is VI; it feels epic and a lot more polished than the games that preceded it, and I'm just not the target audience for VII and more recent.
I liked the class system in 5. It felt more complete than any other iteration of the mechanic.
Also, I'm playing Wild World, because I skipped it earlier, and I'm really bored right now.
Going to pick up Dead or Alive 5 after classes end today! It's going to be a busy week so that limits my playtime a lot, but I'm still stoked to finally play it!
Now that Maple's down, I guess I'm going to entertain myself with Saints Row the Third.
I'm really excited to play Guild Wars 2. I played the opening scenario thingy and I really enjoyed it.
So far in 2012 I've beat...

Finished up the Ratchet HD collection. Borrowed Borderlands from my cousin. Getting terrible headaches from the FPS but I enjoy the actual game so I power through it. Decided to go back and beat Uncharted 3 and am going to finish up Mass Effect 3 now because there's no reason for these to go unfinished.
Well, right now i'm playing Mists of Pandaria and stuff. It's hard to alternate between maple and WoW when both released awesome content on the same day D:
Pretty off topic, but can someone enlighten me about what happened to the WoW thread on the forums? It seems to have disappeared. Thank you :D
Funny that Sarah mentioned Yggdra Union. I just got it and Knights in the Nitemare for PSP for 10$. I played it on GBA, but... this has got some new stuff~
It's here. The forum automatically hides threads that haven't been posted in for a while to discourage necro posts, so you need to expand the filter to show older posts. I think most of us stopped playing. I might get back into WoW later in the year, but I've got my hands full right now. I've barely even been playing GW2.
Legend Of Dragoon:Complete. Finally. Team Inside
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for the Nintendo Wii
Bought this game and am playing this for 2 reasons.
1. SlimKirby did an LP of it. and
2. The name "Mikhail" reminds me of Micaiah, hence I'm using it as my avatar.
I won't be playing through Radiant Dawn until I beat Path of Radiance, because that would be like beating Breath of Fire 2 before getting a chance of playing through Breath of Fire. I did beat Breath of Fire before I was about to beat Breath of Fire II.
Got back into Monsteru Hunteru Freedomu Uniteu with the news that capcom is bringing 3U stateside.
Why the hell is this old lady giving me elder dragon quests so early? I can barely kill a Tigrex at this point.
Well, when I found out Sonic Adventure 2 and Jet Set Radio are out for the PSN...I cried...a lot. The age of video games I was never able to live...crap, why was I born later?
I love the Jet Set Radio series to death...too bad we won't ever see a 3rd sequel...ever.
Jet Set Radio-1/8th Complete
Sonic Adventure 2-1/24th Complete.
Jet Set Radio:7/8ths Complete
Sonic Adventure 2:Story Complete
Pokemon Black 2:Post-Main Story (Emulator (Obtained 9/29/12))
Pokemon White 2:6th Gym (Bought (Today))
*Pokemon Black:N/Ghetis (Emulator (Obtained:Sometime Before B/W's Release In America)
*Pokemon White:Elite Champion (Bought (Day of release))
*Restarted last night to re-familiarize myself w/the game. Sister played White, I played Black. We usually have these races against each other. Usually I end up being slower. We did this on multiple occasions. The hardest being replaying Kingdom Hearts BBS,1,Re;CoM,358/2,2,Re:Coded whiten two months before Dream Drop Distance's Release. Fun stuff.
...Next pokemon game to roll out, I swear I won't find a rom for it.
