Someone was dropping these at PBPQ just now.
I mean, those are dream stones... right?

Dream Stones drop from Cyg Instructors, and Empress Cyg herself of course, at a pretty high rate.
They're also almost completely useless, with the exception of needing them to craft a Cygnus Kohinoor Ring.
I doubt anyone would dupe them.
oh pineapple, I thought only frags dropped.
thank god in my own stupidity and not kms
Can they be used to create empress gear with recipes?
you know what, I bet you're right
I looked at the recipe for the first time ever (I always thought you needed to turn frags into stones)
looks like you need 200 frags 5 stones.
for kMS you can buy the frags for 15 maple anny coins.
So I'm gonna go ahead and make my rings.
Pretty sure it's for the 140 Ring only.
I recall armor and weapons requiring Dream Fragments back during 9th anniversary in KMS.
I think it was 400 per armor(200 for cape) and 600 per weapon? I don't remember exactly how much.
You need 200 dream fragments to create armor, 300 for weapons. As of the patch that introduced the recipes for them, Dream Stones are not used for Empress equips.
That's one hasty conclusion, even if each of them worth hundreds of mesos saying someone dropped them is not prove enough that there's duping occurring in kms.
Duping in KMS probably does occur. It's not like their version's any more structurally secure than ours. The only thing which deters them from duping is the use of SSN, I would think.
There is no duping in kMS. There was an incident once, maybe 1-2 years ago but it never came back again.
I don't think someone would commit SSN suicide just to get a few extra equips in some cutesy 2d game.
trust me, there's 1000s of unused ones publicly available. wonder how it's so available myself, being as you don't see any other countries names + socials on the web. probably has something to do with korea having the best mmo industry.
most of our hackers come from china, including account hacking. so I think dupers would too.
They don't (it would be "didn't" now, I guess) check whether or not you're using an actual KSSN (as in, registered to someone), they just check it's validity using the rules that dictate how a KSSN is formed. As long as it's valid mathmatically, you can make an account with it, provided that the rest of your info matches, birthday, gender, etc.
