Gender restriction makes no sense...unless recently in KMS they added the ability to choose the gender of your character. When I played KMS during Big Bang, your character genders were set based upon your KSSN (Because specific codes in your KSSN meant either male or female).

In JMS it's a similar story, except it's just based on what you chose when you made your MapleID.

As far as I know, only GMS allows you to pick your gender on character creation. So if they force all Mikhail characters to be male, it's kinda screwing people over, because of this limitation people who have female warriors will be screwed out of their gear, and the reverse for people with male mages or male archers when they release those instructors.

You can choose the gender of certain characters, in kMS, just Mercedes, Demon Slayer and Phantom, I think that's all, though. The rest are set by your KSSN. I don't have a female account, so I don't know if you can make female Mikhails.

I could log into my old account and confirm/deny this. My old KMS account is female, and somehow I still remember the KSSN for it.

You can't, it's a male-only class.

It's not like that actually ever matters anymore since everyone just uses either all-class universal gear or empress crap.

All that matters is how you want to doll up your Mikhail in the CS. 99% chance other versions won't adapt the restriction because every other version does whatever the pineapple they want.

What the flying fudge happened to testing stuff thoroughly before releasing? They not only release a class that should never have been made and only a small amount of people wanted, they rush it like the demand was out of this world.

I remember there was a cash item introduced in KMS which allows you to change the gender of your equipment, at the same time retaining all its stats.

Nexon, I beg you, give the blasts a cooldown like panic. This job would be perfect skill-wise if you did this. Don't commit the same mistake you did with vipers damm you, put a cooldown on that pomegranate

The new classes aren't the problem, the problem is that they are releasing new classes to make new revamps so they don't have to make new real content, we actually need a new high level boss and a lvl downgrade for Empress (to lvl 150 at least but no downgrade in power), we need new kinds of equips, gambling but for free for example auctions on mabinogi, pets that attacks not familiars (free and cash versions), a new boss reward system something more like pq reward system and at the same time the drops (so killing a boss in a party is more practical), a scroll profession/tamer profession for attacking pets, obviously new maps, a new party system (bonuses from partying and a party exp system like FLYFF), a better guild system, more pqs like CWKPQ and please nexon I'd really like a Lagiacrus Boss.

They don’t care about game balance at all anymore that’s why. Remember how long pirates were in testing for? I doubt we will ever see that again. The more OP they are the better. It just means in a few months time when the next job arrives we can get an awesome revamp patch to solve all the classes problems.

Actually I think the reason they are rushing it is because they got other 4 jobs to release and they wanna be done before the anniversary. As for being broken it' obviously a strategy to cause a bandwagon.

Then why not just release them all at once. Remember when they used to do that? Day one all 5 Cygnus Knights. Instead they drag it out for weeks these days.

Though when I originally saw that item introduced, I figured it was simply because of that gender limitation. It's not like if you got something with great potential you could simply make a new character to make use of it if it was the wrong gender. Not in the past in KMS, at least.

If I recall correctly, Max confirmed that no such item exists, so that's not the case. I know there was mention of something that had to do with gender changes and Max said it didn't exists.

Edit: Googled it up and found where Spadow confirmed it. Max has confirmed it somewhere else around here too though...
