    I imagine that the Black Mage would have insta-kill instead of the typical 1/1, immunity to magic crashes, and complete hp/mp recovery every two seconds. Earns them more revenue from wheels, and emphasizes the entire 'biggest threat to the maple world' thing.

    He'd probably also have magic and weapon reflect up during the entire fight, the only solution being a cash item that nullifies the buff and costs 24k nx to upkeep every five minutes.

    Oh, and he'd have a 99.9% PDRate, 2.147b touch damage, and twelve bars' worth of 2.147b hp apiece.

    Also you are only given twenty-five minutes to kill him. If you kill him before the timer hits the twenty-four minute mark, you are declared a hacker and receive no drops, although you are given the benefit of the doubt and not purged from the system. You may make another attempt on his life in another 30 seconds.

    Damage for Force efficiency seems to be where this thing needs to go. Therefore, Demon Explosion is detrimental to DPS at bosses unless you need to hit more monsters/wide area, and Devil Cry appears to be detrimental as well, unless the defense reduction can make up for the loss I'm seeing. Even before this patch that made Demon Explosion cost more Force, and be weaker and slower, it was still a detriment to DPS, since Demon Impact just did so much more damage for the same amount of Force, it couldn't be made up for despite being significantly faster. I doubt any pre-4th job skill would be beneficial to DPS, but I haven't taken the time to calculate it. They don't seem to be anywhere near as strong as the 4th job skills though, and I am surprised there are no skills that passively boost any of their damage available, especially considering the number Mercedes had at her disposal.


    Does anyone have a clearer idea of how much Force they gain when attacking bosses, and the extra gained from Max Force's activation?

    Force is gained every hit of your basic attack aka demon slash. It replenishes pretty fast, so I don't see the problem in that. And yes, it does replenish faster when attacking a mob, but not slow when attacking a single monster.

    I like it. Does not use MP. Pot saver, and has a drain skill as well.

    Huh, it seems their Demon Force changes colors depending on how much they have left. That's kind of cool I guess, but I wish they wouldn't use light blue as one of the colors.

    Yeah, they seem to recharge it way too fast in my opinion. That guy seemed to get 10 per attack. Doesn't seem to be activating Max Force, or at the least, Max Force doesn't appear to have an effect here. Hope they make some sensible changes in the next patch. i.e. a few nerfs, a few buffs, make earlier force skills useful in later stages. Maybe increase the force cap and raise the force cost on a few skills that are too good. Why in fu'ck's name does Demon Impact, the only force skill in 4th job without a cooldown have -50% Def? No other skill in the game except ITD skills have that high, and it may very well be a debuff. And I thought Legendary Spear was a good skill to have, and that has a cooldown and duration. Stick a cooldown in Demon Impact, improve the other 4th job skills or nerf Impact so there's actual rotation as well. Right now, you only have Dark Bind to use when it's off cooldown because it has a really strong DoT and Lockdown. Devil Cry is super weak and I'm not sure if its defense reduction is worth casting, and Demon Explosion is bad due to math.

    The way I'm seeing it, there's currently no downside this class could possibly have to counteract the gigantic positive that is 100% Stance to begin with, even if it were lower DPS than other Warriors.

    Do they go to the past and fight themselves or they fight their past selves in the present? If it's the first one I see a big time paradox there, unless that fight is the event that settles him in the right way.

    Do demon slayers have any decent party skills?

    If so, I could see them becoming one of the most popular warrior classes despite the low dps comparison
    after seeing what happened to battle mages.
