No, they have randomized stats when you buy them from the shop. That's their gimmick. They don't drop from anything.

Sorry for any confusion at posting those, it's just they weren't "scrolled" so they weren't godly scrolled items. I assumed that "finds" also includes randomised stats from a store.
And I'd assume they'd get very good additional options due to already having high stats, and being level 100.
Speaking of the ES Squares, I bought one on my Kanna, and it had 5 Magic Attack. lucky!
I'm not really quite sure what you mean, but, I'll try to answer. I'm not sure you can even get additional options on pocket items, other than the ES Square. There's apparently a system of icons, in the top right corner of item images in the description window, that determine whether or not an item can be flamed or not, I think there's a dot, and a flame with an empty dot in the middle, and apparently they vary in opacity, and depending on the symbol you may or may not be able to flame the item, I don't know very much about it. But anyway, since most items from special shops, like event shops, or basically any shop where items are bought for a currency other than mesos, they automatically have additional options, this might extend to regular equip shops too, but I dunno, I can't remember buying anything recently.
Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is, I don't even know if you can get additional options on PvP pockets, because I'm pretty sure pocket items are one of the excluded categories, along with, I think, badges, medals, and secondary weapons/shields.
I guess we'll find out when we get flames in GMS. Rather not spend the coins to get one now when i could spend them on empress.
Oh crud, I forgot to add at the end of that first paragraph, because that's why I talked about event shops and stuff, that if we ever got PvP back, presumably, you'd auto get additional options on the PvP Pocket if you bought it from the shop then.
But, yeah, if you already have a PvP pocket, I don't think it's worth it to gamble your coins on an ES Square, not until additional options, anyway.
i'm assuming this also applies to hilla's stone of eternal life, i have a 4 attack one currently
i don't know if i should bother investing in ES squares until after additional options come about.
After killing Queen with my friend I saw a recipe. I have killed that boss since the day it got fixed every single day and never saw a recipe, turns out it was this:
![]()
It does, and I have no idea what people mean by that, because I haven't seen any new recipes added, and I checked right after that was supposedly patched in.
It's not like additional options are anything special, it's just as a change in the natural stat variation of items, allowing for more stats, even ones that aren't pre-existing, and higher bonuses. The big thing is now that there's Flames, you can basically re-roll what the stats are like clean as if you went and hunted for another version of the item with different stats.
Being a boss item only affects the number of stats that are above, you can still get crap on them, like Empress weapons without an attack bonus, but since boss items have more above stats, there's a higher chance of getting something good. It doesn't matter if it was dropped or flamed, some items are simply Boss Items and are naturally better, I think Danny should have items tagged as "Boss Items" or something in his extractions, as that was one of the new variables found, if I remember correctly. There's no difference between Flamed items and items dropped with additional options, except if you use Flamed items to reset stats of an item that didn't previously have a scissor count, which would give you only 5 trades vs 10~20 of a 140+ item dropped with additional options.
This is great news. This means i can go ahead and do upgrades normally without caring about being weaker in the end. Except for 150 stuff...that's still a waiting game.Originally Posted by iAmFear
Do 140 flames only drop from cygnus? I'm wondering how they could have been in such supply for them to be as low as 50m, even though i know the economy is massively different. If it's like, from cygnus and CHT, then we will have a lot less since we're still stuck at 30 people per SC unless it is fixed.
Hijack the thread a bit: what does the (future) recipe for Stone of Eternal Life require?
