The recipes requiring Primal Essence are the new ones, we will never go back to the old recipes that did not need them. I made my ring around the time of the first Marvel Machine event, so around a month or so ago.

Wait... what? I'm not following, sir. To create a Berserker Ring; do you need 2 Primal Essences? (Kinda confused on the whole new and old recipe logic)

  3. Default Re: MapleStory Chaos: Profession Recipe Guide

    Yes.
The new recipes, which we follow in GMS, require 2 Primal Essences!
The old recipe did not, and I am not certain when it changed or even if it just never made it here from KMS to begin with.

  4. Default Re: MapleStory Chaos: Profession Recipe Guide

This just became more confusing because of the SS on the previous page... lol.
How was he able to make his without 2 Primal Essences? According to that SS, don't we still follow the KMS version which doesn't require Essence?

EDIT: Disregard my posts, you need 2 Essences to create the ring. I found out the hard way.
    iAmFear, please change it.

  5. Default Re: MapleStory Chaos: Profession Recipe Guide

    He did change it!
I pointed the error out, he showed me an SS of the old recipe, followed by a list of the new recipes with the ingredients needed. There was really not much room for confusion.

  6. Default Re: MapleStory Chaos: Profession Recipe Guide

He didn't change it. Check under GMS Crafting. The recipes say:

Guardian's Eternal Ring (Guardian's Eternal Ring Recipe) x1
    - Superior Abrasive x1
    - LUK Crystal x2
    - Confusion Fragment x10
    - Philosopher's Stone x10
    - Dream Fragment x40

Berserker's Eternal Ring (Berserker's Eternal Ring Recipe) x1
    - Superior Abrasive x1
    - LUK Crystal x2
    - Confusion Fragment x10
    - Philosopher's Stone x10
    - Dream Fragment x40

High Lord's Eternal Ring (High Lord's Eternal Ring Recipe) x1
    - Superior Abrasive x1
    - Wisdom Crystal x2
    - Confusion Fragment x10
    - Philosopher's Stone x10
    - Dream Fragment x40

Oracle's Eternal Ring (Oracle's Eternal Ring Recipe) x1
    - Superior Abrasive x1
    - Wisdom Crystal x2
    - Confusion Fragment x10
    - Philosopher's Stone x10
    - Dream Fragment x40

Neither state that you need Primal Essence.

For the love of god, he changed it in his last post stating he would not update the first post until later.

This is where my poor reading skills come into effect... I thought he said he was going to change those recipes... LOL. Thanks anyways. Fail day.

  9. Default Re: MapleStory Chaos: Profession Recipe Guide

Updated. kMS and gMS are no longer separate, as of this point, recipes should be identical, except the recipes we don't have yet (Shining Rod + Soul Shooter). Added the recipes for Shining Rod and Soul Shooter, for some reason there doesn't seem to be any recipe for the 100 Shining Rod or Soul Shooter, so you won't be able to make those.

    Only significant changes:
Added Shining Rod + Soul Shooter recipes.
Updated Akyrum equip recipes (Immortal and Eternal Hero Set Ring recipes + Dominator Pendant)

Had some downtime from finals, so I updated with Japanese 150 stuff. It took almost all day to rework the program I use to do this, but this process is almost fully automatic now, so yay! Well, I still have some things to work out and some other stuff I want to do, but, well, I'm rambling now, so I'm gonna stop. Enjoy.

    Spoiler

Should be Conquerer's Coin. This is the only one that is bugged.

Hmm, it's not a bug on my end, that item doesn't exist. Weird.

Oh, duh, it requires the coins that the Sengoku version of Aswan gives, which we, of course, don't have. They removed it from Kanna's Imperial Fan, though.

This is now updated to GMS 135 and KMST 480. Back to doing separate versions since there was just a revamp and all, I'll probably try and translate the new items later today, if not later this week.

You'll notice that the line immediately following the crafted item is now has various stats associated with the item, like Fatigue Cost and Master Profession EXP gained. Fatigue Cost varies between crafts now, and Master Profession EXP, I guess is for level 11 and 12, certain crafts also have a cooldown now as well. I've also added the probability of success for recipes with multiple outcomes, though that really only applies Mining and Herbalism, at least for now, where the higher levels give you either a plate/oil or a powder.

Also, if a recipe, the use item, requires you to be a certain level to use (besides level 1), that'll now show up next to the recipe name in the associated craft.

Under Alchemist, you'll notice two "recipes" that are outside of all the categories which has a massive ingredient list which takes negative quantities of item categories, this have been there since professions came into existence, but I've never done them until now, they're the Extraction and Fusion abilities inherent to the Alchemy class which you can access from the item inventory.

I haven't seen anything about crafting scrolls, cubes, or the two new extractors yet, maybe next patch.

Also, the guide in the first post is now super out of date, so I'm planning on updating that eventually.

Also, they still haven't fixed the problem above, with the Imperial Katana recipe, so if you get it, I would definitely not use it. Well, I would, but on a mule, just to see what happens when you have a recipe that calls for an item that doesn't exist. Probably an Invalid Pointer or End of File error.

Here are the stats on the new pots:

    Boss Killer's Elixir
    Boss Damage: 10%
    Duration: 40 min

    Elixir of Attack
    Damage: 5%
    Duration 40 min

    Elixir of Piercing
    Ignore DEF: 10%
    Duration: 40 min

    Hero's Elixir
    All Stats: 5%
    Duration: 40 min

    Advanced Boss Killer's Elixir
    Boss Damage: 20%
    Duration: 40 min

    Advanced Elixir of Attack
    Damage: 10%
    Duration 40 min

    Advanced Elixir of Piercing
    Ignore DEF: 20%
    Duration: 40 min

    Advanced Hero's Elixir
    All Stats: 10%
    Duration: 40 min

The damage and all stats stack with other stuff, they're explicitly indie. Not sure if Hero's Elixir actually gives all stats, uses a variable I've never seen before, indieStatR, contrasting with just about everything else that gives all stats, which just gives equal amounts of strR, dexR, intR, and lukR, but the actual description on the potion leads me to believe that it is all stats. All of the pots have a variable called limitMin 60, no idea what that is, maybe it's like a cooldown and you can only use one every 60 minutes or something.

Upgrading your Accessory Crafting accessories (shoulder, face) to Meister stuff makes them exactly the same, except they'll have a slot, and can be potentialed.

If you wear a Meister Earring (Level 140, All Stats +5, ATK/MATK +4), a Meister Ring (Level 140, All Stats +5, ATK/MATK +3, can be potentialed), and a Meister Weapon (Level 145, same ATT, Boss Damage and Ignore DEF as a Fafnir Weapon, Primary/Secondary stats like Empress, and they look like Scarlet weapons, but lack their Joker tag), you get ATK/MATK +60, and HP/MP +10%.

And that pretty much sums up the profession revamp so far, in terms of items, at least, not the system revamps.

By cube fragment I'm assuming it means regular cube fragments? pomegranate. why did I spend all mine to free up inventory space. pineapple me god dammit!

No, if they were the ones we already had, it'd be in English.

  17. Default Re: MapleStory Chaos: Profession Recipe Guide

Cooldown? I assume every time you make a potion you need to wait the x amount of seconds? Woah...so they are nerfing the amount of pots you can make in a day.... ._. that sucks.

So, there is a 75% of getting 1 piece of cube when destroying an occult/strange cube and 25% for 5 pieces. If we assume that you kill Czak, HT, RA bosses, VL, Hillia and Ark daily. You'll get 9 Occult cubes per day, so after destroying, you have an average of 16 pieces of cube daily?. That's 3 cubes from Blacksmith. Hopefully the fragments needed aren't that hard to get.

Alright, I added translations to the post up there, and subdivisions to "Scrolls, Stamps, and Flames" to make it more clear how those would work with disassembly/extraction. It was pretty hard to categorize them, but I did my best, there's very little distinction between the accessory scrolls in "Cape and Accessory Scrolls" and "Accessory Scrolls" or the pet equip scrolls in "Pet Equip Scrolls" and "Special Pet Equip Scrolls", mostly it's just untradeable vs tradeable, given out at different times, etc.

A few scrolls you might find interesting:
    - Skill Scrolls - That's just the "Final Strike" scroll from Root Abyss
    - Zero Joker Scrolls - These are scrolls that allow Zero to Joker (as in, "This lucky item can be a part of any set") its weapon into certain sets, for example the Lucky Marx Von Leon Scroll allows Zero to use its weapon to fulfill the weapon requirement for the Marx Von Leon Set, and the Lucky Lionheart Scroll does the same, but for the Empress set.
    - Revolution Scrolls - The new 50% scrolls in the RED/Revolution Shop
    - Misc. Scrolls - There's literally nothing here, yet, so I just called it "Misc. Scrolls"

Also, I added support for the Period variable, which lets you know how long the crafted item will last. For example, all android hearts last 21 days, except for the Lidium Heart, which lasts 90, and the new cubes and flames last 7 days each. (Edit: Changed "Period" to "Duration" to make this more clear.)

Also, certain recipes are tagged "Premium", I have no idea what that means.

Also, it's amazing how this is still the case, after all this time:
Celine Von Leon Dual Bowguns x1 (Celine Von Leon Dual Bowguns Recipe)
Req. Profession Level: 10 | Fatigue Cost: 5
    Ingredients:
    - Celine Von Leon Dual Bowguns x1
    - Superior Abrasive x6
    - Wisdom Crystal x20
    - Confusion Fragment x16
    - Philosopher's Stone x10
    - Royal Lion King Medal x5

It isn't a priority or anything but the Level 140 "Meister Shoulder" (마이스터 숄더) added in KMS 1.2.196 has not been added yet. Also, how available, for a lack of a better word, are 뒤틀린 시간의 정수 (Essence of Twisted Time)? I only ask to know the viability or difficulty of acquiring the assumed 30,000 needed for a three-piece Meister Set (sans weapon) to saddle alongside Tyrants and CRA Sets.
