Yeah, I did play 2. Unfortunately it was in my piracy days so I don't have a physical copy (still looking though) and my memory is not the shining example of a spelling bee winner. I tend to just remember the feeling I got from games long term, rather than specific events that happened within them. This often leads me to overrating things I haven't played in a while.
Also, I'm not good with cliffhangers. I try to finish games and then put them down to move on and focus on the next one (emphasis on try). And when something like that pops up with no confirmation on scheduled release or development, it aggravates the hell out of me. Do you remember the footage that was released shortly after two for the assumed then sequel that would allow GS2 to be in the GBA slot of the DS to transfer over data? That ended up not happening and the true sequel was postponed to just recent. I don't want to wait another decade for this.
On that point, I'm still pissed they dropped the 3D development of that Chrono Trigger remake years ago. Was it something like a company trying to do it without proper licensing or something? I forgot the explanation they gave.
On thread topic.
Maplestory - (Actually grinding a cygnus. However, it is just the one I had planned from the beginning to tie all of my characters together via family so that I'd make a handy warp mule for whoever I wind up handing my account over to once I quit.)
Overlord 1 & 2 - (I swear, it'd a darker version of Pikmin.)
Dragon Quest IX - (Just hit the job change place after backtracking since I skipped it by accident. Loving this game for it's simplicity so far. It just feels right in so many ways. One current concern though; as a Minstrel, I hadn't touched whip or fan skill points, so I'm concerned I might not be able to max EVERYTHING, which I will do, as I nearly did in VII.)
Prof Layton: Future - (I anticipate something convoluted that halfheartedly explains everything; Including the pending time paradox.)
Etc. - My history shows my consistency with games, so just consider this some two dozen or so random 2-3 hour runs.
