I literally can't put into words how much I hate aspects of my life right now. I don't want to be working in labs. I don't want to be taking Analytical Chemistry. I love Infectious Diseases and Bioterrorism because it is a lecture course about concepts. Not something I need a graphing calculator for. I'm done with insane amounts of math and quantitative statistics, and with sentiment I'm also putting to rest any fleeting notions of maybe getting an MBA one day. Not that I couldn't if I tried, but I don't want to put in the effort with something so vile.

Oye. Long story short is I need to A-Chem office hours like 24/7 starting next week. This is ridiculous.

Watched the original Swedish version of "Let the right one in" with my Swedish friend in his bedroom. It was hilarious because he kept reading the English subtitles and telling me what the phrase was meant to be before they butchered it. it was very, very funny.

We also shared some tortilla chips, and he taught me some Swedish words and told me about his home country. Overall I had a REALLY great night, and I was smiling pretty much all the way back to my flat.

I'd take this over drinking any day.

Also, i had a hot dog that was as long as my arm today. It was delicious.

The following is a eulogy remembering Kurtle for being a generally great guy and a conscientious poster. Unnoticed by his forum board colleagues, Kurtle had been generally slipping away into the tumbler sphere often spending many leisurely forays into .gif space saving and archiving as many moveable images with stationary text that would fit into his folder as fast as possible. It was on one such occasion that Kurtle got bit by a tumbler zombie. Knowing basic medicine, Kurtle tried to administer basic first-aid to stop the infection from spreading by cutting off blood flow from the infected region to other areas of the body. Unfortunately Kurtle's immune system had been compromised by .gif radiation as a result of his many late night forays. His consciousness slipping away into cyber space, the infection turned Kurtle into a tumbler zombie. His new mission? To infect fellow forum board posters into frequented and dilapidated subsections of Southperry in order to proliferate and spread the cancer until it consumes interspace. If you ever see Kurtle post a .gif remember that he was once a great man and a good friend.



If someone could transpose Kurtle's face that he uses for his icon between the header and the two-line memorandum it would be appreciated. Kurtle would have preferred it that way.

Discovered I'm eligible for an upgrade to the iPhone 5 without paying anything for the handset, dunno if it's worth it though, seeing as my current phone still works and everything.. and the iPhone 5 is, well, the same as the iPhone 4 but a bit longer. It's free though so I can't complain.

Getting used to college life and living in a dorm.
Thankfully, I live on North Campus, which is about a 20 minute walk from main campus, and for the older kids.
My roommate and I get along well-sometimes she talks a lot, but considering I have no other complaints, I'll happily take that.

I'll probably go around looking for a job sometime this weekend. I miss having extra spending money.

I went into a new doctor today. Blood pressure was 120/66. Maybe soon I can get off the HBP meds. I'm excited! I asked the doctor when that might happen, and she said, "When you start to feel low a lot, that's when it will happen. As long as you suffer no discomfort, there's no reason to take you off." Can't wait for that day.

Anyway, went to The Container Store. Holy cow there's a whole bunch of stuff in there I didn't even know I needed.
