I really hope they include Hoenn and a continuation of N's story. His motives fit perfectly with what's been happening in Hoenn.
I honestly won't be surprised if this takes place in Hoenn. However, if they actually continue N's story instead of re-hashing the story from R/S/E (In other words, have a new story in an old region like they probably could have done multiple times over by now), I may as well throw my money at Game Freak right now.
Where the hell are my Hoenn remakes
I thought there would only be one alt of Kyurem what is this asdfadsf
They should continue from the point where N flies off, and let you use N in Hoenn. ^^
How does N's story even relate to the 3rd Gen plot, or even, anything that went down in Hoenn? That was more like a "let's expand the land/sea, throw a facade of making it better for people/pokemon but really it's for my own weird land/sea fetish" and not really...relating to N's motives.
I read on a certain Pokemon site a comment that made a lot of since. they said that with KyuRem ReshiRam and ZekRom being so similar in their endings, it could be plausable that the two new version mascots could be named KyuRam and KyuRom![]()
Aqua and Magma were both about using Pokemon to save their regions. I've already explained the importance of the plot of RSE in previous posts but I'm sorry that you are so culturally ignorant that you think it was just a silly "fetish." Japan struggles with both flooding and volcanoes (it is in the ring of fire) and therein lies the significance of the plot of those games, and the use of those pokemon. A character as "deep" as N fits perfectly into such a situation, as he wants to free all pokemon of human desires, and of all the games the desires of the use of Groudon and ...big blue name I can't remember... are the two least shallow in the series.
For sequel material, it is the ONLY logical conclusion that isn't shallow as pineappleing "I want to beat 8 gyms in this area!"
Cool, let's take vague details in a plot, relate it to real life, and call someone out for not noticing said vague details.
Excuse me for not noticing said details about a game I haven't played for almost 10 years. June 2003 was a long time ago, and I couldn't give enough of a pomegranate about deep plotlines back then.
Honestly from what I remember, R/S seemed pretty poorly manufactured in terms of deeper plot significance. They only scratched the surface and didn't bother elaborating any further.
Maxie wanted to expand the land by abusing Groudon, Archie wanted to expand the sea by abusing Kyogre, both for the simple reason of "it'll be better lolz." As far as I remember, they didn't even appear anymore in the plot after you defeated/caught the beasts.
It's surely everywhere by now, but no one posted about it, so... CoroCoro may give some info out this week about these guys. Let's pray for some tasty details.
Well it's been confirmed that it's definitely a sequel, not a "Pokemon gray" kinda deal.
Also a Keldeo event which unlocks something in the sequels.
Finally a sequel! I wonder what events happen after...
Not at all, team aqua hated people for polluting the waters so fill the world with water get rid of land dwelling people problem solved. They were motivated by their love for water pokemon. Team manga on the other hand wanted the land for more space for people and pokemon to roam about. The underlying issue would be overpopulation so they decide lets tap into all that land a the sea floor.
N just want pokemon to be completely free of people.
Slightly off topic: These games being a R/S/E remake/tie-in is actually impossible thus far. The events of R/S/E happened at the same time as FR/LG, and if you import a Pokémon from a 3rd gen game up to a 5th gen game, it says "Arrived after a long journey through time," so the events with Teams Aqua and Magma would have been done and over with, so I doubt they have anything to do with these games.
Also there's a "2" on the titles.
(If these somehow tie into the "plot" of R/S/E, I call time paradoxes.)
We live in crazy times and crazy days people.
