Just lost everything on my main, while i slept -_- less then a day after trading with a stranger for the first time in a while, probably unrelated but yeah.

Five months and still no fix/response from Nexon.
And some people still buy NX.
This is f'ucking ridiculous.
there must be a database leak or better there is a Database leak! KMS accounts are getting hacked too. Its not our fault its nexon fault.simple as that and u guys have to accept that or u are just stupid. The Problem is how to find this loophole and how to fix it.
And pls dont come with keyloggers .. this is too much
Knowing Nexon, if there was some sort of database leak (or any vulnerability in their security), they wouldn't say anything to the player base until they fixed it. Then they would make a big deal about how they are our saviors.
"We saved your accounts cause we care about you guize!!! buy nx today!!"
But if there are multiple flaws, that just makes it even worse lol
What.
This post...
I don't even.
Let me tell you in great detail why you're wrong about basically everything.
The KMS and GMS accounts are held in different databases. KMS ones are in Seou,l Korea, and GMS ones are in Los Angeles (technically Los Segundos), CA. The KMS database was in fact breached a few months ago, and it was acknowledged and fixed quickly. There was an initiative to get people to change their passwords and other details, with a fairly heavy Cash Shop reward as an incentive. I know one guy who was hacked a few months after that, who had changed his password and PIC. The people doing the hackings, at least in KMS, are Chinese meso farmers for the most part.
I'm going to guess that you've been hacked sometime recently and therefore want someone other than yourself to blame for your loss. Therefore, Nexon is your obvious target. Problem is, it's probably at least in part due to your negligence, even if it means that you didn't sweep for keyloggers, or went on hacking sites, or maybe just were a little too friendly with the wrong people.
Look ure on of those guys who are just stupid. First of all I know the database is seperated. But these hackers use the same loophole on both gms and kms. Let me give u and example, My friend quited ms 1year.ago and didnt.log after that. He didnt have ms installed his computer. Today I logged in and guess what hacked but how????? He didnt login in he didnt have the game installed, even if he have keyloggers iT would be impossible to hack him.
And just look at the amount of hackings.... Even Spadow and his guild is aware of.it. And there was a database leak while ago this proofs that its not impossible.
Hackers found a way to get acces to their database but nex:on isnt aware of It.
Wrong. Nexon IS aware of the problem itself. They are not aware of the METHOD hackers are using to access their databases, and their logs probably don't show anything which can help them either. So yeah. Until they release the method to public, which probably will be never (no one in their right mind would do it, especially knowing that those behind this obviously have money as their main purpose, and they actually earn a lot of it), they'll probably never know.
Maybe some expert engineers would be able to do the trick, which would mainly involve revising the whole server code to find any loophole in it, and installing security measures which check more thoroughly for any suspicious action performed by users. It'd probably be a very time-consuming and expensive (for Nexon) thing, but the only way they MIGHT reach a solution.
Knowing them, it just won't happen. It's much easier for them to just keep the game running like this. Afterall, it's not like 100% of their population is getting hacked, but just a substantial part of it. As long as they keep earning NX, they won't see it as a huge issue.

Hurp.
Durp.
You type in incomprehensible grammar and tell me I'm stupid? That's amusing. Just getting that over with.
From the small amount I can understand of your post, here goes.
Why the hell do you assume that the GMS and KMS databases are constructed in the same way? It's pretty obvious that the KMS database is a lot more secure and is checked for breaches more often than GMS's is.
It's much more likely that meso selling sites are just brute-forcing emails, as demonstrated by the rash of password reset emails being sent to people's emails. If there was a database breach, why the hell would they need to get a password reset?

As Eos said above, there's more than 1 method. It would be stupid for the meso sites to just rely on 1 method. Bruteforce+keyloggers+people sharing their account info with people that may not be super trustworthy = a pretty reasonable set of causes for most of this.
Of course EF is aware of it. Half of their guild has been hit by it. It would be idiotic to assume that they wouldn't be aware of it. That's also fairly irrelevant to this discussion.
There was a database leak a while ago (in KMS), that was acknowledged and fixed promptly as I stated above. There was also a leak of 11k usernames (IIRC) about 9 months ago in GMS.
If hackers have found a way to get access to either database, they wouldn't be quiet about it. Statistically, if this has been going on for at least the last 5 months (from the start of this thread), I should have been hacked on at least one account in either GMS or KMS, right? I have 3 GMS accounts and 1 KMS account, and none of them have been hacked or shown any signs of being cased by hackers.

Ah, naivete.
What's greed got to do with it? They're a business. Businesses exist to make money. If this problem is not cutting into their money in a way they can prove, and therefore care about, they have no incentive to fix it. They can't prove fixing it will earn them more money, but they can prove that fixing it will cost them money. Would you invest $100,000 or more in something that has no guaranteed return?

Heres the Thread on Ellinforest , there is a massiv thread on Insoya too....
Kms is getting hit too
Dam u Nexon
And what does this have to do with anything that I said?
Did it suddenly change the fact Nexon is a business?
Did all these people suddenly stop buying NX and do so in a way that Nexon couldn't help but notice, despite the millions of players they (claim) to have?
Have lawsuits been filed somehow/somewhere to get their attention?
All you're doing is spewing random facts we already know as if they actually relate to each other meaningfully, or as if they change anything.
We already know:
1) People are getting hacked, through multiple means.
2) Nexon is aware of it.
3) It's still occurring.
4) People are upset.
5) Nexon is doing nothing they'll admit to about it.
Anything that rehashes any of those five facts in any form is Not News.
@Raul, you got to stop adding arrogance + sarcasm every time you reply to someone you don't agree with, specially when it's people obviously affected by something like this and are upset. It's like walking to someone whose car just got stolen and calling them drama queen.
Anyway, there might be different ways of hacking and different groups behind each attack, but what is pretty obvious is that there's been a database leak. It's happened countless times before. The only reason why Nexon doesn't acknowledge it yet is because there's just no obvious proof, unlike the MTS incident which had a list of ID's in every MS related site, so even if they found out how it happened, they would just fix it and go on with their business.
Even after quitting over a year ago, it's still going on. Makes me believe that someone within the company is orchestrating this or has a hand in all of this.
I can look at my support ticket now, but there's still nothing new.
I mean, I only lost like 3k nx, I don't even care if they give it back to me; I just want a damn human to look at my ticket. >_>
Last week, 3-4 months after one of my accounts got hacked, I received an email from Nexon. No copy of it, but it said something along the lines of "a GM looked into it, sorry for the wait, we are working on some form of compensation for you soon, here's 5k NX to tide you over for now."
Since I had cleaned off anything of worth on the account after the hacking, I just MTS'd the NX over to my main's account. Was slightly surprised to get the email, let alone 5k NX out of it, and still crap potentials from the cubes I bought :P
