And, as I said, the IDs are sequential - each is the same root word, followed by the numbers I put in square brackets. The ones with an 'a' were already registered so I tagged it on the end. It seems someone's running through IDs in alphabetical order...

- they're running through them much faster now
It has the appearance that they got a hold of a new list or something or maybe they have a better method and are working through a list they previously had and getting accounts they couldnt get before. I have read about several people being "Hit" in the past few days and know a couple people in game who were also who hadnt been touched before.
would be funny if this new list comes from redeeming nx cards/buying cash items haha
The accounts in question are ones I haven't logged onto in years. Thus reactivation >_> I'm not sure if that means they're successfully logging onto other accounts or what.
Yeah, one of my emails just got a reactivation link too.
My other main account was hacked today. I was online on my main account at the time. Ugh.

My HS mule account was hacked some months ago, but I caught the hacker and he dced or logged off for some reason, and I could change the info.
What is interesting is that the hotmail linked to that account also linked to my Elsword account, which was also hacked around the same time frame.
Today when I went to check the hotmail account for that 5k NX event thing I got the message that multiple unsuccesful attempts to log in had been made. If this is somehow relevant for all the other hacking cases I cannot say, but if it is, you guys might want to create a gmail account or something for the sole purpose of housing the Nexon account and request an email change. I have done so, and it is not a lenghty procedure as long as you have access to the mail account

I believe every account ID has a hidden number associated with it, which is what Nexon actually uses in transactions. These would be assigned in sequence based on account creation date. Maybe the hackers basing attackes on those numbers.
Could be email address, too - the accounts were created in sequence in time, use a series of similar emails, and similar IDs.
My brother's account was hacked earlier today. I assume it has something to do with this.

My mule account, who's password hasn't been changed in 2 years, was hacked at this moment. I'm laughing histericly at the hackers going on all of the characters trying to in desperation find something on them and all they'll get is 1m worth of potions.
