    So his number is a little extreme.

    Honestly the best thing they could do is change the debuff from stun to something that reduces the damage monsters do in some way. (reduce the actual damage they deal, modify how often they attack, reduce the range of their attacks, mostly just something that can apply to bosses to some extent, effectively rendering stun mastery into a flat damage buff on something that is attacked frequently enough).

    Much along the same vein of flat damage increases, I thought it wouldn't be that bad of an idea if they normalized the speed of all knucklers to 6 (we now know they can do this) and increased the multiplier a little. It would have the same effect as a flat damage increase come 4th job.

    I think around page 9 or 10 there are links to videos of a buccaneer at pap. It wasn't redeeming in any way.

    Hey if you're that willing to agree that hamads idea isn't actually bad, go nuts. 35% is just as fine with me as any other number. Putting it in flat like that is a boring way to implement it imo.

    I'd rather have a % chance to Retaliate (a Bucc version of Cannoneer cannon counter) to make up for the loss of iframes and have a 4th job skill that improves the block rate. Also have the deal dmg back toggleable like Mechs.

    Why have I posted 35%?

    Well i can list 1000 Reasons.


    1.Buccaner are still low-tier DPM for example I compare them with Post Union Arans.

    Arans get 35% Increase from Snow Charge and pineapple 105ATK+( its 135 right)? from Skills also they get Advance Final Attack coming with 170%Max Critical Damage and 55 % Crit Rate along with 40%PDR +25%Boss Damage

    Arans full Swings are 100 + 400 +400 + 490 +490 +355* + 355 +355= 3000% in 1,6 SEC + all those buffs from ABove and Final Attack( Im not consider FinalBlows 100% Crit Chance)


    And Now Look Buccaner
    The Punch delay is 960MS so in roughly 1,9 Sec they Deal 3500% with a freaking 25ATK Buff only. Their Crit and eveything is lower than Arans and even with out FInal Attack would kill Buccs.

    SUMMARY: BUCCS STILL SUCKS AND ARANS ARENT EVEN NR.1 DPM!

    I hope i have closed ur mouths now. Next Time ppl who attack me use ur brain first.

    You only listed one reason, and that reason is comparing buccs to another class o.0

    Care to list more? And please don't do DPM comparisons, most buccs never even wanted to be top bossers anyway.

    All in all, the reason why I made a brawler adv ring mule all that time ago was to experience a little of what buccs experienced (it was fun just extremely slow for my taste :/), so I kinda understand that changing the playstyle so dramatically is going to piss off a LOT of people, buccs being the majority, but some others (like me) as well.

    It's like stripping arans of their combo system and buffing up their attacks to "supposedly" make up for it, or stripping WHs of their jaguar. It can work... but it just doesn't make sense.

    I think the main problem was that buccs had a uniquie play style and look and your way of fixing it was a buff up. Im sure everyone that has a 140+ bucc does it for every and anything except damage. At this point they no longer care that much about improved damage but rather improved playstlyle. But of course some damage is necessary but not a whole lot to make them happy. Bucc's were never a DPM class so you cant say they suck when your only comparison is DPM.

    But I really dont think this is the finial update. Im sure they will do some last minute changes before it hits the live server. But the changes will only include %s and Hit count. Well maybe Just maybe they may bring back old skills. But they wont create any new ones. But I for one Also want to know how KMS players are responding to these changes. Namely Bucc's because they are the largest screwed up class by far.

    Stun mastery sucks because stun is an entirely worthless mechanic while bossing and a mostly worthless mechanic otherwise.

    The reason it is worthless on bosses is because, as you may know, they are immune. The reason it is worthless outside of that, is because the best monsters to train on are typically immune to stun due to being GMS LHC, or parts of instanced play and immune. Those that aren't typically die too fast for stun mastery to make any sort of difference.

    All in all, it's not a very good skill it should be changed or replaced. Hamad suggests a change that increases the damage the class deals and throws out the number 35%. Is it unreasonable that the class deals more damage? Even if he did it poorly I think he showed it clearly isn't. Did he specify how this increase in damage would be implemented or say it would happen any one particular way that is in some way flawed? I don't think so.

    So what are you hung up on? The number he came up with? Seriously? It's that big of a deal?

    You guys are so caught up in disagreeing with hamad you can't even admit stun mastery is a fail skill that needs to be changed or replaced.

    No, I oppose a random skill that just increases damage for pomegranates and giggles.
    I've got no problem with replacing stun mastery with an attack skill that's good and powerful, and is then upgraded in 4th job to replace some pomegranatety skill, take 5 points off something for the upgrade.
    I've said it before; just adding %'s everywhere isn't a substitute for an actual revamp. They did it with the 2nd union patch for the original adventurers and guess what? Nobody really liked that revamp.
    Except for making the ultimates 2hit. But that wasn't a direct damage increase (or it might have been 50%), it was a improvement of the skill.
    In this game, when everyone's hitting max damage, increasing damage isn't really the point. That's why classes that have multi-hit skills or skills that just have an insane amount of HITS per second are so ridiculously good, because the %damage is diluted but it has the potential to be so much higher than other classes.
    I'm hoping I'm making myself clear.

    yeah i see your points. and i guess i read over that it was only 1 specific skill he was talking about and that skill was solo for increasing damage anyway.... Well i guess then its a nice change but it cant be the only one. If nexon desides to even change anything
