To be honest I never thought Shadowers needed a revamp. They had a great balance between mobility and damage. They could have used some visual changes and buffs (and a freaking nerf to the number of hits of ME, it's so fking annoying) but I wouldn't have asked for more.
In the case of Night Lords and Buccaneers though, its funny. I could never think of many good changes to make Night Lords more fun, but I could for sure think of changes for Buccaneers, like:
Flash fist and somersault kick just needed a new visual effect.
Double uppercut should have been replaced for another skill that could be easily combed with FF and SK, (screw tornado upper) while they should have replaced backspin blow for an useful buff.
The change to energy charge went the right direction but the animation got lost in the route. Stun mastery should have given a set chance to ALL attacks to stun enemies, as well as its current or higher chance to do critical hits. They should have got rid of shockwave and added an energy mobility skill like energy jump/rush.
Barrage should have turned into a hurricane like skill to build energy up; demolition should have stayed the same except as fast as fits of rage, snatch should have stayed with just a new visual effect and since I was never a fan of energy orb, I wouldn’t have minded they replaced it for that 100% PDI skill.
Everything else should have stayed the same or got just a few tweaks. I really liked the way Buccaneers played before except for their lack of mobility and damage compared to others. Now they lost their charm.
Thief and pirate got buffed but they are nowhere if u compare them with other classes like merc,ds,aran,hero...
Nightlord's Shadow Partner isn't removed right?

I salute thee. Especially Band of Thieves; my main motivation for leveling in early Chief Bandit-hood pre-BB because I was excited to see the next, new, ninja to appear.
Trading in Assaulter for a rush skill? There's already "x" amount of classes that can already rush. Ugh...I'm gonna miss that little, extra bit of mobility and ignoring 100% PDR.
Sudden Raid. What. Why? WHY?!? Why do those fools there love ultimates so much? Ugh...
I'm genuinely surprised we did not get a "Critical" skill. Only thief not to get one now, because the thief legend is obviously going to get on seeing as how every Legend before him/her has gotten one.
Sure there are some things I am like..skeptical about in Corsair changes, but in lies plenty of potential here. Sair's seem to be a bit more complicated to control....which is what I like about the class to begin with before we got the "boat never brakes" change. Loving the new wings, loving the PDR reduce, sad about losing boat, but I can definitely feel the excitement of keeping my stance activated while using rapidfire, and doing an occasional Head Shot. The Head Shot animation is pretty badass...as well as the Shot Gun skill I hope that skill maintains some sort of relevance in terms of mobbing.
I liking what I see, but I need to see this all in full force action for me to deiced whether to play again or not when this comes out.
Also for the sairs complaining that we losing uniqueness...lol Sairs have always been a class that more or less was a collection of ideas for already existing ranged classes.
All canon was a stronger TT
All Trop was was snipe with a faster CD
All RF was was Hurricane
ALL Recoil Shot was was Flash Jump
The fact that we have so many attacks skills for other ranged classes is cool with me. A marksman/Bowmaster/Sin/ all in one...I game.
They are completely changing our classes from what we first made and intended them to be.
That is why some of us are a bit upset..
Did it hit anyone those weapons may possibly be sprites for skills?

... Maybe Thief Hero gets skills "transformation morphs" similar to those Buccs had except they'll change to look like other jobs?
A bit of a rant but:
COMON REALLY? Giving all Explorer Thieves Sudden Raid and Pirates Battleship Nautilus? Is Nexon really normalizing everyone that much? Why don't they just give every job that exists Stance, or better yet remove mobs KB-ing players.. If they're gonna give them AoE nukes, they should have done something like this instead so each job would be unique in some way at least:
Buccaneer: Spirit Bomb/Energy Bomb
Corsair: boost the stats on Air Strike, however keep it in balance with other AoE skills.
Cannoneer: keep it as Battleship Nautilus.
Night Lord: That one Throwing Star AoE Hsalf from CWKPQ uses.
Shadower: "Dagger Storm"
Blade Master: DBs got Sudden Raid back so the chance of skills returning has increased (hopefully some Achilles effect for DrKs), but replacing Venom? I'd take Venom over Sudden Raid probably due to it's utility and ability.

Kind of sad to see job unique skills for Bucc(SXform, Demo, Snatch) and Corsair(Battleship, Cannon, Torpedo) be deleted as those did make them unique..
The new Corsair skills, the 4th job ones make it seem more of and Outlaw rather than a Corsair. Aside from that, it seems more of a Bow Master + Marksman job now as well.. 3rd job doesn't seem bad except for the skill delays of course, That new Octo summon is nice though it fires more like a revolver rather than a gatling gun(what it's using). Infinite bullet is a good add, and reasonable due to the use of Rapid Fire.
Buccaneers look like they need a bunch of changes still <.< . Removal of charge-up on Cork Punch is a nice change(got pretty annoyed with that on mine ><) Energy Wave laser I'd have to say is a ripoff of Cannoneer's Bazooka, maybe have them fire a projectile rather than a laser? They kept skills a lot of people never really liked or doesn't really seem worthy(ex: Shockwave, Stun Mastery, Barrage), though I think if they made Barrage more like DS's Demonic Breath keydown type maybe it'd seem more useful or actually for those who play DFO, more like Battle Mage's Pluto Wave skill.
Thief changes... I just don't know.. some changes I like, Shadow Claw animation looks MUCH better now, but most of the changes just look horrible..
NLs still play the same at bosses,Quad Throw.. really.., well maybe I can live with that but the "effect" animation seems recycled =/ ,Triple Throw animation looks horrible. NLs were always 190 levels of the same skill, and it looks like they still are(L7, TT and now QT - They're really the same skill guys, just more stars and a recolored effect). I was hoping for NLs to have better mobbing but not to the point where they look pretty much melee. Drain being removed hmm, seems debatable but I think a nerf to how much it healed might be just fine. Alchemist being removed feels more of a fairness balance, I mean 15 min Apples, 45 mins energizers? when everyone's end after 10 and 30 mins respectively; Not that i'm jealous of NLs having Alchemist or anything.
Shadowers seemed fine the way they were with a few skills being moved around & a small boost here or there. RIP old Savage Blow animation D:, The new Assassinate animation seems horrible, like a ripoff of DS's Demon Slash, Assaulter looks like some Mercedes skill I think, don't remember which. Boomerang Step I think they should have kept the old "effect" animation, but use the maple leaf in the new "effect" animation along with the new "hit.0" animation as the "hit.0" animation. Purple Smokescreen looks bad I think, I don't dislike purple or anything, just that it doesn't look too fitting.
Honestly...they couldn't have done much else.
If they made a hurricane star, everyone would be peaching about how Night Lords are now pomegranatety bowmasters.

Been doing fine, enjoying life a lot more without Maple around. Not that I can really play anymore either. Hacked, never compensated, no desire to come back, etc. I'm just sticking around SP just to see what changes occur for Thieves and my beloved NL class before I call it 100% quits (in case they made something attractive).

Basically how I interpret Nexon's approach to this patch:
Step 1) We take away all your skills
Step 2) We completely stupefy your gameplay and return only the most basic skills back to you, but strip them of any uniqueness to avoid "confusion"
Step 3) We reorder the character structure in a totally erratic and thoughtless way so that your character's mechanics will be reminiscent of a blind monkey throwing pomegranate
Step 3) We add passive buffs to make it look like we actually did something productive
Step 4) Ultimate
Shadower game play seems to have been ruined, it's all about spamming BStep for mobs and Edge Carnival for bosses and require less and less control.
I don't even pineappleing get Night Lords or Bucs, my condolences. Corsairs seem to have been pleased, but I'm still a bit on edge.
