Power out for 24 hours now. I'm at my cousin's house (who lives like 5 minutes away...)
I can't play BF3, damm.
Princeton Interview was okay.

Halloweekend was fantastic :) Got into a few frat parties and had a great time as a murse, and this week is looking to be pretty laid back, no exams or homework ;)
Sleep schedule is so messed up right now thanks to midterms. Of course my course has its midterm on the last possible date so everyone else is done but I still have one left. Can't wait til Friday cause I've had so much to do this past month. 5 labs to do this week and a Physics quiz and I can finally relax wooooooooooooo
Found some inspiration to seriously study, like, the kind of studying where you do something productive 90% the time you're on the computer.
Another Magic draft, another draft without winning a set. Hell, this time I didn't even win a match.
I have the slightest feeling today is going to be extremely boring for me. I did all my celebrating over the weekend so I'm not expecting much more than a bunch of kids who already knock on my door frantically.

Read Harry Potter in bed/in front of the fireplace ALL day. School canceled today and again tomorrow.
Hurting still. Wanting more than anything else in life to have the connections I see between others. Oh, and just realized while crying to my parents that they can't relate emotionally to me for pomegranate. They're the best parents I could ever ask for, but I now know that is the one thing they'll never be able to do for me, which adds a little more salt to the wound in emphasizing the nonexistence of relationships that would provide that connection.
I just want to find my best friends, and hey, a serious guy, too.
This weekend was pretty interesting I gotta say. There was a massive snowstorm on Saturday (its on the news everywhere by now), and electricity started flickering in and out at 5 PM EDT, followed by a complete blackout by 10 PM EDT. I did get some homework done, though some of my hallmates were telling me to "chillax". I'd had enough fun for Saturday after participating in the fun-filled final mission of Humans vs Zombies earlier that day. I had enough fun for that day, now I have to sit down and do my homework. Life priorities > partying
(Oh and those who WERE partying got caught by the residential director and got written up, LOL)
So today's Halloween, and while I didn't dress up and such (may plan to do so next year), what I DID do was pretty much studied all day, then enjoyed the once-a-year lobster and steak Halloween dinner at my nearby dinning hall.
Though this week is going to be slightly hell-infested.![]()
Slow night cause of Halloween, much needed because of the sunday destruction. Store looked fairly decent after tonight, and we left the store with NO returns. pineapple yes.
Got the results of my first essay assignment at college, i rushed it and did it mostly on impulse, was expecting simply a pass at best, ended up getting a distinction which is the highest grade possible. Was very surprised and very happy, hoping i can perform similar miracles on the rest of my assignments :3
Also, on a less happy note, i've been getting really close with this amazing guy at college, i've never met anyone who i had so much in common with, or could speak too so naturally. I only see him once a week at college and he wasn't in today, was really disappointed. That's 2 weeks in a row i haven't seen him, i can't believe i miss him so much, ah well, hopefully next week.
Ran a 5K today and then lifted almost 100pounds, it's not much but it feels good!
Finally got my two guinea pigs. (:
I also had an amazing date with Manu, we took over the world and destroyed some bees.
Going on 96 hours without power. I don't mind so much not being able to internet, but the lack of water & proper cooking are really getting to me. School wasn't bad today, though.
Got a call from one of my bosses today asking me to come in for a meeting with her and the store manager. When I showed up this kid who I got hired with was there too so I was like Uhhhhh whats goin on.
Turns out they want us to be Assets Protection Specialists( aka Security) I gladly accepted the job. Don't have to chasire or do any bs work AND I get a set schedule.
Great day at work, I was the top cashier last week and I got an awesome 100% pin. I had to train the new seasonal person today as well. I feel important. C:
My brain hurts.
It'll be worth it after this week is over, though.
