This is correct. Check for slots if you want potential items. Of course, class specific items still cannot be potentialed, like Dragon Equips and Mechanic Equips.

Does this mean that you can find these new: belts/pendants/shoulder pads/rings/face acc/ as normal drops from mobs?
And that these drops may have slots while their crafted counterparts do not have slots?

how hard is making a reverse stuff with this system? from what i read you need a reciple for any 110+ item otherwise you are not able to make it, right?
whats the droprate of those reciples~?

I know this is not an answer to your question, but if you are aiming for reverse items, make them before chaos. You can't add as much stats through blacksmithing as you can with maker.

It's easy to obtain 130 crystals if you disassemble Lv120 equips such as eye accessories and pendants.
These recipes(also some reverse recipes such as one-handed sword) are cheap in KMS due to the existence of meso farmers most of whom are hunting for recipe of angel ring.

The availability of monster crystals for professions basically boil down to the quantity of GMS hackers (who are most likely 100x more efficient in killing and looting) vs KMS botters. Otherwise, creating crystals shouldn't be hard if you're making something for yourself. PoTs are still going to be cheap as hell so you just have to make overalls and disassemble them. Either that or use alternative methods such as hoarding 100-110 stuff and hoping you get the crystal of the higher type during disassembly.

Easy. Android recipes. This is what makes profession so much more elegant than maker was. If i understand it right, recipes are just a reference, whereas with maker you had to hard code every recipe into the game. Therefore creating exclusive recipes is a lot easier than putting new ones into maker.

It's nearly impossible to get dark angelic ring recipe from monsters. The only way to obtain this recipe is from specific event that character levels up jewel crafting to LV10(Max Level) in 15 days.
I hope you have been ready for that event. If not, you still have the chance to gather tons of plates for that.
Every character can get that reward if he completes the event.

My suggestion:
prepare the following plates:
Lv1 : 7 Opal or Silver
Lv2 : 12 Orihalcon or Amethyst
Lv3: 21 Steel or Sapphire
Lv4 : 81 Sapphire
Lv6: 388 Gold
Of course you can use lower level plates for levling up your professional, but lower level plate means more time will be spent on completing the event.
If you have the materials and do jewel crafting at 12AM, 8PM, 11PM(server time) everyday during the event, you will get dark angelic ring recipe as reward in 10 days.
BTW, the dark angelic ring is 600 million mesos in KMS right now.

Warning, as the original stats on the equipment will not be transfered to the product.

When combining two of the same equipment with both having potential, the product will always be unidentified.
Basically, a non-NX buyer's cubing method.
