Having to stay at work when its unneeded, because almost everyone else from the command is gone, sucks and the only reason we where still there is because of equipment turnover was still being done, which I'm not a part of.

So i'm working again and i'm like "well, the week is hard, but i'm going to appreciate the weekends more"
Cue saturday and I have a massive migraine and feel like pomegranate. typical.
caught myself watching cat videos on youtube today
yes bryan you are having a productive summer goodjob
Went to watch X-Men: Days of Future Past.
It was really good!
Loved the cameo of Wanda/Scarlet Witch, as brief as it was.
Spent literally all day going over readings for my final exam tomorrow, feeling pretty confident about it now though. I managed to write almost 4 pages about Blade Runner for my first exam, so that was pretty great.
I bought A Song of Ice and Fire as a box set this morning too, and it had free one day delivery so it'll be waiting for me when I get home after the exam. Can't wait to start it!
Somewhat related, Pizza Hut deliver this monstrosity:
My sister and her friends ordered one last week and it looked horrifying.
Just came back from Houston, visited for the weekend. I have four weeks until I am 21, and that weekend I'll back in Houston. I will go back to Blur, get pineappleing drunk, and make out with some fine ass hispanic guys in snap backs and jordans god damn god damn so much eye candy this weekend.
That is, if James doesn't finally want to set in stone that he's my boyfriend.
Sigh, I really feel like I need a cuddle, and I don't know why. Today wasn't even a bad day. haven't had a good cuddle in ages.
Literally the other day:
Spoiler
Since I'm caught up on episodes now, I thought it'd be fun to start reading the books to see what details the shows overlooked and changed-although ordering the box set would be too intimidating for me and I wouldn't read any of them D: so one at a time will do!

Yesterday, the landlord and his wife came to pick up the rent, and we asked them about a few things that we were having issues with- the upstairs tenants claimed to have called the landlord regarding the issues, but the landlord and his wife claimed they never received such messages. I trust the landlord and lady more than the people upstairs so..lesson learned that if there's a problem, we'll just call them about it rather than trusting the upstairs people to do it. After that, Stephen and I went to a lake and walked around it. The beach area was already crowded with people, although we found a nice, non-sandy spot to do some possible swimming further down the trail, so I'm excited for that.
Had all 4 wisdom teeth removed this morning. The bottom ones were deeply impacted, so I had to go to an oral surgeon. The man seemed pretty cool and it went by quickly after they knocked me out. I was terrified when I woke up, though. I don't do drugs and I rarely take medicine, so that disoriented feeling was really new to me.
Anyways, I haven't had any food or water in over 12 hours and I'm starving. I wanna get to a solid diet asap.
Finished with my exams, which means I'm finished with my first year of university! Very weird feeling. Most of my friends have another exam tomorrow and my roommate for next year has his last exam on the 16th (ouch), but I'm free for the next like.. 4 months. Gotta find things to do!
I've been home for about 2 hours and I'm already 80 pages into book 1. SO GOOD.
My girlfriend and I went hiking out to these "Punch Bowl" rock formations near where we live. They collect water so you can swim in them. Would have been cool, but my girlfriend tripped shortly into the hike (7 miles) and scraped her knee pretty bad. We left early and she ended up having to get 8 stitches.
On another note, my university sent me a BIG check. Turns out they approved (almost a week after I graduated) a grant that wasn't given to me at the beginning of the semester.
Looking at new dance studios. This new dance studio was wtp.
- SMALL dance floor. I was running into people constantly.
- AMATEUR instructors.
- EXPENSIVE packages. They wanted me to pay for "units". Each unit = 1 private lesson, 1 semi-private lesson (semi-private meaning no more than 8 people in a class), and 1 practice session (essentially a social). The cost of a unit? $180! Screw that! The reason why they have their lessons as "semi-private" is because they can't FIT more than 8 people on the dance floor.
They tried to sell me on a 5 unit package for the low low discount of $650.
What an awful business. They can go screw themselves.
I bought the HTC One M8.
Damn I love my new phone.
