I don't know what other servers are like, but three hackers caused prices to drop this low and have them sit for days unsold, and when/if sells, it's replaced instantly.
These prices will halve (or more) in another 2~3 weeks.

yeah sure, cheap RA is great, but it's because of hackers and pretty much all the purchases will be supporting hackers. isn't that a huge portion of why this game is failing the way it is?

I'm not sure what to say about the community now, especially if I was approaching this from Nexon's point-of-view. If we (Nexon) don't release the CRA equips via boss we are accused of money-grubbery. If we do release them, it highlights our inability to stop hackers and people complain about making mesos, even if they are reduced mesos.

I guess we'd better release them anyways, this was the better decision, complainers will stop just like they've stopped complaining about Empress hackers. It isn't like these same people who complain aren't going to take advantage of it anyways. They'll complain and keep cubing, status quo, which works for us.

I don't quite see how letting the in-crowd monopolize these items is a better alternative. Also, what exactly is the benefit of delaying the inevitable, since hackers WILL find out about this eventually, other than to make a quick buck while you can?

In essence, I don't see how proof of these items being obtainable is going to majorly impact the survival of this game, when these items, like every other item in the game, were supposed to be dropping anyway. How is it better to just let everyone believe Nexon still hasn't fixed probably one of the most hated glitches to ever exist?

Not to defend hacking, but hackers have always been present in Maple Story, since beta days of godmode and vaccum hacks. If anything hackers will inflate the economy by producing more meso flow, hence the need of rising the max mesos cap to 10b, or dupe/hack rare items making them widely available, and at worst, they will KS or DC hack you, those 2 being the only annoying things for me.

IMHO, Nexon has done more harm to the game than hackers have.

I understand where people are coming from, but having people downvote something we thought was long gone to the ways of "NX Only" seems a bit douchey IMO. As Blunderr said, it was only a matter of time before people found out anyways. You can't magically make it NOT happen and/or disappear.

The only monopolization on these equips have been, and will be, by hackers. I've told people I could trust that they drop to try and help them out. I personally don't care about my own meso income, it was my undercutting that caused the hackers to slash their prices (with angry comments) twice. And they were stupid about it anyway. At best, if there's a 2x event and we are lucky, cami and I can get 5 tops and one hat/pants. Hardly anything compared to a hackers' bajillion mules.

Proof of these aren't going to make a difference, this game is already past the point of no return. Now that there is solid proof (like there wasn't anyway), any little kid can click a few buttons, hold down a key, and get these drops on several characters that it took you a party of five multiple attempts to kill. But it's been that way for a while. It was nice not having that with RA, even if it was only a month.

Yeah, nexon has pineappleed up a lot and continues to do so. I feel it's down to the community to make little parts better when we can.

Going by the FM screenshots, it seems hackers already know (and have known for a while) that these drop. Keeping the info hidden from Southperry readers is not going to save the market from crashing.

Nexon being too busy false-banning afk'ers and then unbanning everybody including hackers and their mules (saving them the trouble of leveling and pre-questing on new ones), that's the problem.

No, but since "they don't drop" is still on the Known Issues list, somebody will eventually be assigned to fix it. They will pineapple with the drop tables, and who knows what that will do.
