Hello everyone. I just started downloading Dragon Nest, and plan to go the Tinkerer>Engineer>Shooting Star path. Does anyone have some tips or a skill build for a beginner?

I quit my Shooting Star in order to fund my Soul Eater, but I think this is what a build would look like for one:

Mine was slightly different from this, in that I made it so I have no ducks at all and maxed Star Burst. My main use for her now is for some pvp, hence Bubble Trouble, Flashbang, and such. For PvE, I hear quackum shock is recommended as well as Kami-Quackum, but I'm not sure how to build for Kami. If you want to solely PvE, you can drop bubble and maybe Flashbang (it's more preference but can have its uses in PvE) and put the SP elsewhere. Bullet Barrage is, in my opinion, a crappy ultimate and should only have 1 SP for the requirements for Shooting Star skills. The Quackums is the way to go since you can use it and keep attacking while it's going. The only issue is the enemies can still run outside of its range before it lands/mid-cast, losing some of its DPS.

I've been checking out the new Dragon Jade system that is to replace suffix and potential. Did a write-up based on what I saw in kDN. Unfortunately, the 1+1 event in kDN failed to level my Saint (and the only way to fix that is to send in a ticket through the kDN help desk, which is completely not an option for me), so now I'm forced to spend the next few weeks leveling him manually if I want to check out the 16-man dungeon that is scheduled to be released next month.

So I went messing around in kDN again.

They have a Halloween event shop that consists of staying logged in for these boxes that give 1 coin each. You can get up to 11 per day I believe, not counting weekends when more boxes are likely given out.

Pumpkin pet = 20 coins
Permanent Rare hat (lacks set bonus though), 30 to all stats/1000 HP and MP = 20 coins
Ghost spirit = 160 coins
Phantom-style mount, can't tell exactly what it is by the item icon alone = 300 coins

Freaking... Zero chance of that coming to NA though.

We get a Pumpkin Kitty here in NA after like 20-30 consecutive days logged in .-.
No clue about the other stuff though. 11 per day, for 300 seems like it'd take perfect attendance. Also, who the pineapple crafted the Rampage Claw 30% hit damage reduction crest. I wanna smack them, because I need 20% damage Rampage Claw. What does hit reduction even do? Reduce damage taken during cast?

Yeah, reduce damage taken during cast.

But Rampage Claw has a really fast casting speed for a skill that hits everything 1 mile in front of you (along with having rather low SA), so I don't even know what use such a crest would even have. I guess the devs screwed up and meant to give it crit chance like most of the other Kali crests. :/

I think Spadow used to play kDN and DN EU, but I'm fairly sure he has quit DN EU by now due to all the mismanagement issues since the launch. D:

Salvation group 2's progress on DDN:

- Killed magma flower with no deaths
- Reached 1x bar against scorpion

Next week, we'll hopefully kill scorpion without deaths too, and maybe move on to worm. Hopefully we can reach the dragon without any deaths within November. :D

Everything is pretty much dead for me. DNLauncher isn't working for me since my password is too long for the password box, and the website just says "There was an error. Try again later." The website doesn't even fully load either, just some images on the edges of the screen.

Anyway, seems like patch in about three days. Past three weeks felt really fast...
