On this note, I've brifely read that hunger is not reliably indicative of the need for sustenance. True/False?
To be more explicit, the amount of calorie intake necessary for normal physical and mental functions (not accounting for distractions caused by dreaming about donuts and pancakes) can be achieved without a stomach that feels full.

True, and I think you're overthinking this by a lot. To summarize the more important bits:

- Calories out > calories in = weight loss under 99% of circumstances. There are several calculators online for you to figure out your daily caloric expenditure. I also recommend that you count your calorie intake for a while to get an idea of how much you really eat in a day--if you're overweight, you probably eat more than you think.
- Things like instant noodles and white bread (Processed carbohydrates and sugars) are high in calories and low in nutritional value. You should avoid these.
- Things like fruits, nuts, legumes, red meats, etc. are high in calories and often high in nutritional value. You should eat these in moderation.
- Things like white meats (fish, poultry, etc.), vegetables, etc. are low in calories and often high in nutritional value. You should eat these in abundance.
- Yes, you can eat nothing but instant noodles and still lose weight as long as you're eating less calories than you're expending, but you're probably not taking in proper amounts of nutrients. This is avoided by eating nutritious foods and/or taking supplement pills (I do both). Be smart about what you eat and use common sense: If it comes wrapped in plastic, isn't from the ground or a tree, and consists of more than three colors, you probably shouldn't eat it.
- Meal timing is a thing, but its supposed huge impact on your metabolism is bullshit. Eat as few or as many times as you want, as often as you want, whatever suits you.
- Exercise is for health. Running a mile does not mitigate eating a double cheeseburger, not eating a double cheeseburger mitigates eating a double cheeseburger. Different types of exercise exist for different goals, but that's beyond what we're talking about here.

To summarize even more: Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.

Florals are always popular year-round, with the mood of the print matching the season, so not really. I mean this spring florals have more of a presence than usual, with this particular print mixing the trend with another of the season's biggest: saturated colors. Plus menswear is really undergoing a revolution right now to further catch up to womenswear in terms of fashion-forward, statement pieces, so the same floral and saturated color trends for spring womenswear this season are also huge in menswear. Though the sweatshirt I'm wearing is from Prabal Gurung for Target women's collection ;).
