I don't see anything wrong with pantheon to get an idea of how a bruiser works. Soraka won't really teach you anything worthwhile though since supports don't really exist in low levels.
Had one of the best games ever.
First off, I noticed they didn't have a jungler and this was a level 20+ game... so I was like what the heck?
Then minions spawned and mid was empty, and I was wondering what was going on? Turns out enemy team pushed top and took down turret... Jax was d/cing and I was like great, this is gonna be a long game (wanted to give up at 20:00). My team slowly farmed and tried our best to keep our other turrets but they were getting taken down by the enemy as one whole team, so I was like oh joy... Suddenly during mid game we mad an astonishing come back! Our Jax stopped lagging, so he started to farm and carry us. We got Baron twice, and the other team was just trying to push lanes and took all our inhibitors; of course we started acing them several times and the team took down turrets while I tried to keep the minions and super minions off our remaining 2 turrets. Eventually we won and it was pretty amazing feeling.
I was playing Cassiopeia (I recently purchased with IP and regret 0% of it). Score: 5/7/8 - yeah, I fed a little, but you can't blame me... I still suck.![]()

Thanks to @z0mgc00k13 for the heads up!
Panth doesn't build a Trinity Force for damage. He builds damage for damage.
BACK ME UP HERE @Purplefire44;
I've seen Pantheon build as a bruiser. And he still hurts.
A 3 line poem where there are 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second, and 5 in the third.
Haikus are easy
But sometimes they don't make sense.
Refrigerator.
Bruisers are almost exclusively AD casters. They generally build a combination of damage and tankiness.
I can think of several bruisers that would not dream of buying a Triforce or Atma's. Riven, Talon, Wukong, and Fiora are just the ones that scale off AD. Mundo, Singed, Volibear, and Cho build tanky with a small amount of damage if they're really feeling it. I would put Shen on here but a triforce is actually decent on him. Darius would only build Atma's if something was really weird, and his Q isn't nearly spammable enough to justify a Triforce. Urgot is another bruiser (believe it or not) and he builds mana, tankiness, and a bit of AD in the form of a bloodthirster.
Honestly I stopped knowing what to categorize Ryze as a while ago. Assassins and bruisers both (usually) focus on killing the enemy carries though. But in terms of build, yeah. He could easily be categorized as either a bruiser or a carry because there are limited items that give him the mana he needs and all of them except Archangel give a defensive stat as well (Frozen Heart, Rod of Ages, Banshee's Veil). Plus building a Void Staff is generally only a 6th item on Ryze (if ever) so he has to build an Abyssal to get through MR and that happens to give him MR. He builds as tanky as he does because of the limited options available to him, not by choice. And Urgot builds tanky DPS because he can't build normal DPS (ie, manamune, cdr boots, 4 BT's) or he'd get wrecked in an instant after finishing ulting a high priority target.
Pantheon is an attack damage caster. Trinity force is pretty good on him.
74 more IP til Kog'maw.
1 more game, and I'll own my 1st champion.
After a losing streak I finally got mid and COMPLETELY DESTROYED the enemy going 16/1![]()
Bought Kog'maw.
