No, it's intended. I can't use my 2nd or 3rd job skills, only Dragon Slash and Will of Sword, and Transfigured does less hits per second than the original and Will of Sword still isn't any different. I may be talking out of place, but I actually feel a bit nerfed when i transform because I'm hindered to only two skills.
I can't imagine what 4th job Transfiguration is like.

If true every warrior except Paladins will have their damage reduced by 50% at Empress, Magnus, Pink Bean, Hillia, and just about every other new Kms super boss that comes out including the Black Mage.

Paladins aren't last anymore hooray. They'd be a bit higher if I excluded both Smite and Heaven's Hammer. Using Heaven's Hammer is about 200%/s lower at 70% for Normal (6) 1v1. Smite is negligible. Difference for 7 targets is negligible with either there, but lower cap damage without them. ACB didn't get a buff so Paladins can continue being the worst multitarget while they're at it. Dark Knights' Sacrifice didn't get a buff, only an indirect buff from Dark Force, which is why they're not significantly stronger 1v1. Dark Impale is still not better for 1v1 except on cap.
Pretty obvious how Heros and Mikhail got a gigantic buff. Numbers might be a little too high for Heros if the Advanced Combo - Boss Killer buff is actual Boss Damage, since I just made it additive to Advanced Combo's damage to give them 2.4x.
tl;dr herpderp Heroes.
I kind of like the balance for hyper skills. Paladins can at least compete with heroes if they cap. The hero ultimately wins because of the higher possible millions per second, but keeping up with the strongest offensive explorer is saying a lot for a class that can outlive any other character as well. Dark knights still suck unfortunately...at least they have range? I guess?
Mikhail's buffs aside, dat 70% base status resistance mmmmm.
@joetang: are you accounting synthesis and such? If so i have a weird request, how many of the hits from the hps are from CAP-breaking skills?
And how do you decide which hyper skills to use? Just wondering

Switched Dark Knights to Dark Impale for single target. Sacrifice is stronger for 70% Defense by 1.25x for reference, but Dark Impale has a higher base damage.

Dark Knight: Dark Impale - Reinforce, Dark Impale - Ignore Guard, Dark Impale - Bonus Attack, Dark Force - Critical Rate, Dark Force - Reinforce

These are the highest %/s possible combinations. Every class has Hyper Critical Rate. For Dark Knights, if you have high enough inherent defense ignore from gear, which you'll want for Dark Impale to be stronger than Sacrifice, you can take Dark Force - Critical Damage instead of Dark Impale - Ignore Guard for more damage. AFA - Bonus Chance adds the least %/s, but it contributes to hits/s and max/s. Something like 500% Boss is needed for AFA - Bonus Chance to be better than Raging Blow - Reinforce and Advanced Combo - Boss Killer in terms of %/s, but you'd be hitting cap with that anyways.

What makes dark knights have more max damage than paladins? Is it dark synthesis?
Yes. It does up to 3m x10 every 8s. You can see its effectiveness on the 7~8 targets, where Dragon Fury only got ~1.25x increase at most from the other buffs, the actual damage went up by nearly 1.6x and almost 4x as much max damage. I expect the actual numbers to change in the next patch since it's already a carbon copy of Mercedes' Wrath of Enlil, though it does have its own (slower) delay.
I have to say, i like how the max damage numbers look like, heroes beat drks, which beat pallies, but the difference is only of 1 million each tier, with paladins having the better survivability and lowest damage
The fact pallies beat drks 1v1 (using sac) is kinda sad, but i don,t mind.

Doesn't the description mean it should be 300k x 10? Has this already been confirmed in videos to be 3m x10?
Damage cap increases aren't for the total number accumulated from all attacks within a skill. Damage caps are set as the highest number of damage any single hit can do. With the damage cap on that skill being 3,000,000, the highest number any single hit within the skill will do up to 3,000,000, so it'll do up to 3,000,000 * 10.
Soul Resonance: Resonate with Escada’s soul, dealing 320% damage continuously as long as your skill key is held down, for a maximum of 8 seconds on up to 10 monsters. Proportional to the duration of the first attack, deal a maximum of 3000% finish damage. When attacking a boss, increase your damage by 50%. There is a cooldown of 60 seconds. Maximum damage for this skill is 99,999,999. (max level: 30)
Ok now i havnt seen any Angelic buster videos but your telling me that Soul Resonance does 8 billion damage? 100 million damage per second for 8 seconds to 10 enemies? and 1.2 billion damage to bosses? 150 million damage per second for 8 seconds?
