Hahaha
About time you read it!
dat's just one book yo.
- Martin himself likes to point out that A Storm of Swords, currently the second longest part of the series, has about the same word count as the entirety of The Lord of the Rings.
I read them all in a row too, during the 30 minutes I had for a break at work, and 30 minutes before work began. They lasted me a LONG time.
The font is pretty small too D:
Now that the sixth book is around the corner I feel kind of guilty having finished all 5 other books so long ago and not remembering all the things.
Just started book 4, loving the focus on different characters. Finished Season 2 of the show as well.
I haven't gotten around to watching the series, I'm just now downloading them again. I remember starting the series but having a lot of conflict between how I imagined things and how they were portrayed in the series, but it might be a good way of catching up on the main events of the story before jumping into book 6.
I am so excited for Winds of Winter. I think a reread might be in order once GRRM announces the release date.
I'm pretty sure I heard from a reliable sources girlfriends' cousin that North Korea is holding back on any military action until George R.R Martin finishes the last book.
So we should be safe for a long time.
This is why I'm not going to even start them until they're all out. I might be waiting a while but I'd rather do that.
A series I read when I was younger has about 10-15 books in it, and when I read them as they were released I forgot so much. I started re-reading them for the hell of it (plus I never read the last two or three, so I decided to refresh my memory) and so many details were lost on me those years ago because of how long I waited between each book.
I don't want to do that again, so I refuse to read an incomplete series from now on.
