    I really don't like ST becoming just an afterimage of attacks. And I think that laser is better off having a cooldown... but that's just me. I like the idea of buccs shooting a beam like that, but I don't really like having it be spammable like that. >_>

    It always makes me a bit sad when people make remarks like yours.
    Does nothing in your brain kick in and say "Hey! Hey, dude! Remember, different people have different preferences."?

    I'm partially happy that these changes suck since my Sair is on a secondary account.

    But, yeah, they obliterated all that Sairs once were.
    I don't know how I feel about the new class, but I wish the old one would still stick around.

    My opinion on the new Corsairs is Fusillade would be interesting if it weren't so pineappleing slow. The maintenance on Octopus was previously terribly since server lag pomegranate all over cooldowns and reduced the overall damage output. They definitely could have done something more interesting than Hurricane, but it's better than Cannon.

    No they have at least 3 things to remind them of what they once had:

    the new rush skill that they added

    the fail barrage replacement

    and the hyper beam that they shoot out of their hands.

    Oh and failwave. You can't forget failwave,

    Buccaneers aren't even close range anymore. They're mid range fighters and they only do DPS AND they're not even good at that!

    If Nexon left everything alone and just buffed skills(what everyone here is wishing had happened), everyone would be peaching and moaning about how they lied about a full revamp and that it's just lazy and blah blah blah.

    I like the direction they're going with Corsairs. Yes, Battleship was pretty badass but otherwise it was more of a hindrance than anything. They should speed up Fusillade and Head Shot, and hopefully replace Rapid Fire with a fast single target attack, kinda like Mechanic's Siege Mode.

    I wonder if we'll end up getting that Leap Tornado-esque skill that was in the preview. It would be a great combo with Wings.

    It's like you're incapable of making an accurate statement. More than everyone here wishing they had just changed numbers people wished they didn't make things worse. Which at this time it appears that they have somehow managed to do. Buccaneers used to be weak damage wise yet with a unique skill applications and effects. Now they aren't unique or interesting, still suck, and have horrendous skill animations.

    I don't get how you're expecting people to react with anything but disappointment.

    They turned peoples class into a pomegranatety mechanic with pomegranatetier mechanics.

    And by some miracle they made it uglier than that giant grey robot.

    They aren't complaining just to complain, just like they weren't complaining to complain when the other classes were revamped and they weren't. They are complaining because it fucking sucks.

    Someone please illustrate to me how buccaneers aren't objectively more pomegranatety than every class in the game right now to back up your logic behind the people who play the class not having a reason to complain.

    EDIT: This trend reminds me of the early days of Warhammer Online where several of the mirror classes were clearly worse than their counterparts. The players of the counterpart class would almost invariably just accuse the people pointing out legitimate and sometimes enormous differences between the two classes and their effectiveness and often be responded to with: "oh you're just a complainer." The result? one of the first major nerfs to come to a class happened to the tank considered by every level 40 hell probably 30+ member of both guilds (in different servers and on opposing factions) to be the worst tank and possibly worst class in the game.

    Nexon is pineappleing bad at responding to customer/community feedback. Why so intent on making it potentially worse by stifling what may become community feedback? Consider for a pineappleing second that when someone complains it is because something actually sucks. Seriously it's pineappleing nexon chances are something does suck.

    Like I said, I haven't dove into the mechanics and all those little nuances yet, so I don't know how effective any of the summons are. I'm just rather frustrated by the fact that they took any hint of uniqueness out of the class.

    I was actually getting excited to see what they were going to replace Rapid Fire with... and then they replaced everything but Rapid Fire. wtp?
    Bossing-wise, it seems we're now BM + MM + Cannoneer.

    Not everyone would be complaining if things had stayed more the same just like not everyone is complaining that things vastly changed.

    To demonstrate, I will now quote Bribery, just one of the people who actually like what Nexon did with Sairs.

    My main issue with Sairs before was the massive shift that occurred between 3rd and 4th Job.
    Battleship vastly and immediately changed the playstyle of an Outlaw once they reached the final advancement, and was even incompatible with many of the skills that a player had previously acquired.

    My solution to this problem would have been to move Battleship (or create a version of it) in an earlier advancement and build skills around it. They took the other route and just kicked it out the door.

    Overall, I like this new Sair, but I don't like it as the Sair.
    It's pretty much an entirely different class, and may have been better treated as such.

    And geez, I love how all of you are attacking me while using YOUR specific class to demonstrate.
    I wasn't talking about any class in particular and I wasn't telling anyone to stop complaining. You all can have your little rants, I'm not stopping you.

    I'm just saying that it seems like no one here would be completely satisfied unless they see everything that they think their class is "entitled" to have. Everyone here is going off on about how they think they should have done "X" instead of "Y" and that everyone should run to Nexon Korea with blazing pitchforks symbolizing their crushed hopes and dreams.

    After 9 years of pomegranatety customer-developer relationships, what do you expect from this game?

    Ok I'll make this simpler.

    The crux of our arguments are that you evidentally can't focus on a concept.

    You're as useful as hamad without being anywhere near as funny. (my opinion at least. he cracks me the hell up)

    We can't reason with you without you victimizing yourself, making ridiculous exaggerated claims which you treat as and evidently believe to be factual or true.

    What I am is saying is, it isn't "all of us". It's you.

    And way to work the class bias angle. It isn't my class and I don't even play the damn game anymore. There must be some other reason why I think it sucks? Hmmm but what could it be.

    Not because it does actually suck. No, that would be absurd.

    I think both of those ideas would've been interesting (them moving battleship to an earlier advancement to get the taste of what 4th job would be like, or separating it into it's own Octo-slinger class).
    And yeah I agree, it was always weird to me how you jump from being what seemed to me like a quick and nimble gunslinger to a Battleship riding Corsair in the blink of an eye @.@

    The rest of my post turned into a "wish the game worked different" thingy, so imma just close it off from my main point of "I liked those ideas you mentioned".
