    Some of those delays are not definitely not accurate. Just because the delay and that name exists there does not necessarily mean that skill uses that particular delay. Rapid Fire 60ms for example. Rapid Fire apparently doesn't actually use any of these delays, as with Hurricane.

    I do believe that Brave Slash is accurately depicted at 840ms, one because it is a new skill delay added and they would obviously be using it, and two, I've seen a recent video and that's nowhere near as slow as 1020ms.

    What is this supposed to mean?

    Does anyone know if gunslingers aren't as bad before 4th job? I mean I know they're pretty damn good 4th job, verging on totally broken, but if they still suck before then I would guess there still won't be a lot of them. Even with the recent balance patch I've seen slingers quit before hitting 3rd since they're still lackluster.

    I wish they'd finalize everything, I've been leveling my I/L Archmage, and it's sad looking at all my skills and being like they are all so loluseless.

    Wait what? Since when? I never heard anything about that before...

    OMG that means that DkK's have the best ultimate in the game since lvl 80, without -ANY- delays, nor pot costs (lvl 40 healmulebot anyone?)

    280% * 1.8 = 504% Damage on on 15 monsters full screen?

    Wow... and I thought leeching would be gone... how naive... :')

    Or it's 280% + 80% = 360% to 15 monsters. Unless we're sure that Berzerk is still multiplicative.

    Funny that you should mention yourself being naive, because someone must have forgotten to tell you all about the changed monsters exps and most importantly levels and hp of everything. Now consider how weak 504% damage is. Now Spend a couple of minutes looking through the monster level thread and, I dunno, maybe a little thinking and you should be able to work out why leeching is almost worthless in the new kms regardless.

    Well I saw 50k dmg roars at the speed of 1 per second at some DkK vid here at the vid thread... it's about 4x the speed of the current genesis spam...

    Now I don't know if that's weak to you, but I don't think so that it is...

    The shadower in some other vid onlyl did 40k bsteps (that's including SP damage)... and bstep only has 1/10 the range of dragon roar...

    Dark Knights will be the new Ultimate spam abusers, alongside their healmulebots and their holysymbolmulebots...

    Too bad this gameplay is still present in maple after the rebalance...

    Why not just add a cooldown to Dragon Roar... then we're finally rid of that crap ultimate spamming... -.-

    1) That was a Level 146 Dark Knight. And it still took him 3 casts of Dragon Roar to kill the Spirit Vikings. And a crapton of HP.
    2) Those Spirit Vikings are Level ~120 monsters. Now imagine how much longer it would take for Dragon Roar to kill monsters around his level. It'd take about 4-5 casts, not counting the possible misses.
    3) I doubt many Dark Knights here would want to subject themselves to such boredom and higher pot costs (especially when they actually have other attacking skills) unless they trained Ultimate spamming Mages beforehand.
    4) I think that Shad you were talking about was Level 123, and thus would not have that many points into BStep in the first place.

    I think they meant delay between shot intervals.

    Hurricane and Rapid fire were both 8.333~ Shots per second. Thats about 1 arrow per 0.120 Milseconds, if the delay decreased to 0.060mil seconds, then thats the same speed as a Bowmaster or Corsair with SP using hurricane or rapid fire.

    Dragon Roar should still get a cooldown, though 5 secs is probably enough. At its current capacity it still functions like a weak ultimate.

    Edit: They'll probably give it 20.
    okay, it's probably glitched

    840 Brave Slash ms would be the same speed as Cannonwtp I meant Brandish, assuming Fast (5) weapon. Seems like a decent speed.

    The spammable Dragon Roar is most likely a glitch. If you watch his buffs as he casts Dragon Roar, the Dragon Roar "stun" icon appears briefly. There's no point of it appearing during the skill animation and disappearing right after it ends.

    Dragon Roar is obsolete as it currently is. I don't mind 5sec cooldown but the cast stun duration needs to be removed.

    Btw, I found hurricane in the New delay data, it's actualy renamed to gatling shot and has a delay of 60.

    That's the Wild Hunter skill. Hurricane is still called Storm of Arrows.

    But.. Theres still a chance that Hurricane is the same Delay offset as Rapid fire.

    That would be perfect. If the dmg was reduced by 10% at all levels, that'd make it stronger than Brandish at lvl 6? Which seems acceptable enough.

    The rapid fire delay value is the time it takes to start it up, not necessarily to shoot each bullet.

    To clarify, the delay list draws from a base set of animations your character can go through. For example, fire arrow, holy arrow, bow shots, etc. use shoot1, crossbow shots use shoot2, archer final attacks and 3rd job mage comp arrows use shootF, etc. Pre-4th job, maple usually just stuck with those base animations aside from certain skills like savage blow but started getting fancier about how your character moves starting mostly with 4th job and pirates. Pirate skills all draw from pieces of those base animations because if they created a new position your character could be in just for pirates, they'd have to animate every single existing piece of equipment in the game to fit that animation, which is way too much work. The same is true for every new job.
