:P The main questline was skipping dungeons and I tried doing as many side quests as possible so dungeons had 3-4 quests active before running them. Once I got the job specialization quest, I went to lotus marsh and holy quests batman.

I had to log off right after that so I guess I'll have fun with these quests today.

The job specialization quest for Cleric is actually really hard (clear Mezz up to round 10). Do not try soloing it, try and get at least 1 other person to carry you to round 10.

I used the party search thingy (super handy, totally forgot about it) and cleared it already.

Screw the main quest line. I go for all side quests in SH before moving to LM.

If you do that you actually level slower. When you're 40 you should move to lotus marsh because the quests/dungeons will give proportioned EXP while the SH ones will not anymore. By following the main quest line and stacking all the quests, you should get to lotus marsh + level 40 around the same time (you'll get to LM before main quest line during this godly exp event for sure).

I want to get my last brawler ring as it'll be my first huge upgrade in a while. Then I can work on GDN weapons.

Hehehe, yeah. Quests in this game give so much EXP compared to like a full year ago. And on top of that, this patch included a double dungeon EXP event until the patch next month, along with free enhanced gear all the way to level 50. It's insane, man. This is the month to level up alternate characters.

It's actually triple clear exp. Seeing 1 mill exp wasted soloing manti hell makes me cry.

Also, for every char you cap, the others gain a "Pro Bonus" in exp. It's 10% more exp per capped char I think, and we can have 16 or 20 characters in the 4 merged servers total so 160-200% bonus exp. I don't know if the character limit is 4 or 5 per server, but I have 2 servers with 5 characters because I created bonus event characters in them. The other two I have yet to try breaking 4 characters in. I don't think capped characters in Leviatha count yet.

Where/how do I start upgrading gear? What nests can I run with ~26k hp/mp (lol)?
The guild I'm in is pretty friendly; I'm pretty sure they'll help me with anything that needs a party.

1. Guild name?

2. Did you decide on guardian? (Crusader and guardian build completely differently)

3. If you just hit level 50, you should open up your level up box (unless you're stalling so you don't get multiple market day passes). The event right now will give you a +10 epic set that will be a huge upgrade to what you're currently using, and it will give you enough stats to run through the nests to upgrade yourself further. This is the order in gears you should go for

Get the free event gear
Get a full ancient totem set (this part can change depending on what class + role you are fulfilling e.g. pure PvE tank guardian)
Get that set to +6 with all suffix II with the proper suffixes, do not mess this part up
Get legendary sea dragon and/or unique green dragon gear

4. Start making money to buy skill crests. The paladin you chose + role will determine which skill crests to get. Aura of Healing (heal amount) and heart of glory (buff duration increase) are staples though. Only buy epics, dont' waste your time with blues

5. Buy level 50 blue enhancement crests. If you see cheap 3rd line ones, grab them. Upgrade them further to epics later

Example of a 3rd line: Health enhancement + physical means it gives VIT, %VIT, and physical damage. Normally it just gives the VIT part.

The ones you want again are determined on pally + role of pally you want

6. Start doing daily/weekly things and start making money. Here are the things you should do or consider to do

A. Archbishop + titan normal: They'll give you materials to make your level 50 epic gears. They'll also give you hell passes

B. Archbishop + titan hell: They'll give you level 50 accessories. They'll also give you green dragon passes. I would not go titan hell until you're semi-geared. You can get carried easily in ABN hell

C. Chaos rifts level 24 + 32: Extremely easy way to make money. You should be able to solo them after a small gear upgrade. Level 24 HP mobs are 5-10k for bosses. Level 32 HP mobs are 50-150k for bosses. Don't try and solo level 50 until you have all your suffix II stuff done. For the 24 and 32 rifts, NPC all the blue/green materials you collect. Sell all the fragments you get. A full run will net you about 500-800g

D. The farm: Get to basic level 8 for your farming level. Do this by planting 3 golden apples over the course of 3 days. Then start planting life essences in your personal farm plot (currently 15g~) and replant them every 30 minutes. If you are lazy, plant an apple of life seed in your personal farm plot (currently 220-270g) and water it every 12~20 hours. It'll take 5 days to harvest. The best set up would be to put an apple of life seed in the public farm plots but you usually have to snipe those spots or go really late at night/early morning. Then plant life essences in the personal farm plot

E. Doing dailies: This refers to the 5 dungeons to the right of ruined village. There's a girl sorceres there that will give you 5 daily quest which requires you to complete the dungeon on abyss mode. She will then give you 3 goddess mercys every quest, meaning 15 a day. You use these to buy a lot of things from her shop. I would recommend you NOT buy the suffix II essences from her. The best thing to do in my opinion is wait for the shop to update so it starts selling GDN sparks and then sell those. Also this is where you get your suffix II powders. Because a lot of people don't need them, find a party or go with friends that will give you all the powders. You will need 3 per gear, so 21 in total. On average that will take you about 5-10 days to get them all.

F. Ladder: Go do your ladder games before they reset on saturday 9am PST. You must do at least 10 games to qualify for points for the week. You will then use your points to buy a level 50 epic enhancement crest pouch. You will get a random enhancement crest which is basically playing marvel machine. You may get something worth 10 silver, or you may hit the jackpot and get something worth 225k gold. Once you're semi-geared, you can easily get to 1600+ rating because you just stall out the opponent and whittle them down. You don't really have to try until 1800-2000 rating on a paladin. Or if you don't care, just go in the match and lose/leave. You just have to play 10 games, not win. However, ties do not count

G. Apocalypse hell: Do this for SDN passes. Do this for the chance at apocalypse accessories which will give you decent money

H. SDN: Go in practice mode with friends and read guides on how to tank SDN.

I. Furious Mezz: Epic wellsprings sell for a lot if you're lucky to get one

7. Get a proper "title" Idk which one you'd use for guardian (for crusader it's speedy delivery, until you finally get limit breaker). Challenger from titan nest is a good one at 70 VIT

8. Don't worry too much about accessories now. Just get blue level 50 ones. Necklace/earring for HP. Rings get destructive of conqueror. You might be able to get unsparked vital magenta earrings/necklaces cheap (epics) but sparking is going to be a pain. If you do get that though, I'd buy diamond spark service for 50-150g each to get the spark you want. Eventually you'll get techniques but those become quite expensive

Edit: 10. Give all your gifts to "Royal Court" faction. Then spares to golden goose (until 2500) then rest to free adventurer league.

@Faming - Did they fix the bit about letting plants die giving a crapload of exp? It may be best to just toss down some essence seeds and let them die every 20-30 mins to quickly get basic 8 farming and then start worrying about actually watering.

@Ladder - Pretty much this, but know that if you just flop matches you may only get 600-700 pts and it takes 960 for the Enhancement Pouches. Also, in Ladder, don't be afraid to use Banned Skills (Skills not used in 1v1 out of courtesy). Ladder is, for a lot of us, a free for all and we use whatever we can to win whether that be summoning Alfredo in my case and spamming Alfredo Tank or Clerics (I never know which Cleric is which so I just blanket them) spamming anything that can heal while also killing me in 2-3 shots with Smite.

Farm: The plants give EXP as soon as they are planted. I believe that is intentional as they have never changed it to give exp at the harvest. And you can't plant life essence seeds unless you are basic 8 which is why golden apple seeds are the fastest way to get to 8 [3 days]

Ladder: While you only get 660~ points for a really low rating, they do accumulate up to 3000 which is fine. On your main I would actually try to win. (Un)fortunately for me, I have 1 main + 12 alts to carry through ladder every week so I try to win on 10 games and lose 120 other games. It's better than the other person who has 1 main + 27 alts.

Ah, did not know that. I went the dumb route and planted the crap seeds to basic 8, also I feel like exp starts at the second planting. I don't remember seeing any exp when I planted a seed in a fresh plot, only when I planted a new one after letting the old one die.

As for ladder, 10 wins is WAY better than I can say for myself. I get 2-8, 3-7, 0-10, 7-3 often. This week I got pure acros/eles/merc for pvp and it was a nightmare. I won only a couple matches because of the opponent just being bad...Stuck at 1600-1700 rating atm...

I did decide on Guardian - I am using the build you gave me two pages ago. (although, I have points in divine hammer for now while I am still mostly soloing. I have a reset scroll ready). I was planning on full tank PvE.

Tons of other useful information I'll be making use of.
I'll do most of the stuff you listed today and tomorrow, and post again if I come up with any questions (which I definitely will).

They nerfed GMs to the ground. I was sticking around 1700-1800 and now i'm stuck at mid 1650 this week. Before nerf it was easy mode to get to 1800+

Only way to really get back to that rating is to have extremely good control or have PvP skills
